Colgate Optic White Battery Powered Toothbrush, Soft

I don't know exactly what it is about this toothbrush, but I feel like it gets my teeth cleaner than anything else. I've tried the one with the little flosser bristles and I've tried other generic plain vibration, and I've also tried an off-brand sonic toothbrush (which really was sonic!) and this trumps them all. I don't have to scrub my teeth and irritate my gums, I just lightly pull this along my teeth (and up and down) and it does the work for me. Both me and my dentist are happy! Now if only I could get in the habit of flossing-- Yeah right, that's never going to happen.

I could only use this for a couple of months...the batteries were dying, so I replaced them...it wouldn't work at all after that! Now I have extra replacement heads with no workable body. 😕 I give it two stars for working well for the short time I could use it.Update: I bought a new one which has only lasted for 7 1/2 weeks. Now it doesn’t work at all. I won’t be buying another. Obviously, there is some flaw in the design.

This was a replacement for my cheap Oral B battery tooth brush. Its just ok in my opinion. The size is great, the brush heads are good and have a nice little tongue/cheek scrubber on one side. The issue is the draining. You really have to rinse the toothbrush slots out around the head really well or they clog with tooth paste. The other issue is that they don't dry out if you stand the toothbrush upright in a holder. If you do, when you go to use it again all this gross water comes out onto your hand. I end up leaving mine on the side of the sink tilted slight down so the water can drain out after each use.

If there was a 0 rating, I would give it that. It barely turned on, so I thought maybe the batteries were old (which did make me worry about how long it sat on a shelf). So I bought new batteries - then it didn't work at all. I would return it, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble or money saved. Waste of money. Glad I didn't buy the extra heads offered at time of purchase like some others did. Don't buy it. If you want to try one of the less expensive toothbrushes, go to your local store where returning it won't be a hassle.

No toothbrush can make your teeth white. This toothbrush does a regular job, nothing spectacular. I can open it easily to change the batteries, which only last about 2 weeks. I hate that the toothpaste or water keep dripping from the holes and makes a mess.

This did not work nearly as well as the much-more-expensive whitening Spinbrush. The bristles look like they are made from a sink scrubbing brush.

Liking this gentle on my sensitive teeth,although I would like my brush just a tap larger.
