Stainless Steel 316 Wide D Shackle

It's rare to find something so solidly, heavily & quality made anymore & top that with the 316 stainless metallurgy. I dont know what you're planning to do with this, but it'll still be doing it long after you stop doing it. Worth it. Highly recommend. Functionality high, Fit perfect, Value for money definitely.

It is the right size that can be used for connecting climber's harness to rope.

This is a great shackle. People use 316 stainless in marine applications but it is a great steel for longevity in any application. This thing will outlive me as a connector in my home-made deer hauling setup.

Does its job

Stainless, i.e. read rust-less in my book, is most important to me. Who want's rust stains on everything that comes into contact with your hardware? Nobody, right? This shackle, has, met that requirement in a salty wet environment. There's a little more play as you seat the threaded end into the shackle, but it's no more than comparable hardware in this class. It's good quality at a good price.
