Grandson Loved It
How to make a 2 year old happy? Go to Amazon, order a trio of trucks (including a street sweeper!) and this rug and put them in "his" bedroom when he visits Grammy's house. Pleased with this rug- it's large enough for him to walk around on, it's pretty soft, the low pile is easy to vacuum and the price was great. The only reason it did not get 5 stars was because it does slide around and bunch up easily. I did have it placed directly on top of wall-to-wall carpeting so I don't know if having it on a hard surface or having a carpet on carpet gripper mat under it would have made a difference. But at his age, the sliding and bunching actually seemed to be part of the fun. And when paired with the little street sweeper, cement mixer and road grader he was one happy toddler. Pleased with this purchase.

The girls loved it.
I liked this mat because the buildings didn't extend over the roadways and I liked the price. The grand daughters (2 & 5) love playing with this. They had a bunch of vehicles but no place to play with them. They brought in their 2-inch characters and animals from other play sets and made up stories about what they were doing. It was worth every penny to hear the 2-year-old say, "Nina, come pay wid me." The true test, though, is that they will play with it on their own. It gets rolled up and put in the corner every few days, but it doesn't stay rolled up for long.

Fun for toddlers
My granddaughters love to play with cars and this was a great gift. They love playing on the mat and pointing out the school, hospital, police station and other places on the mat. Nicely made. There was a crease in the mat but that has relaxed and went away.
