Really, just had time to put the ramps and arduino together and hook 'em up. So far, they work just fine. Other reviews mentioned a lack of connectors on the wires, which I had prepared for by purchasing a pack of dupont connectors and a crimper for them. These things had connectors on them, apparently compatible with RAMPS 1.4. A minor downside (nothing to write home about, and likely specific to the application you'd be using these for) is the cables falling around like noodles after you untie them. Definitely a good purchase.
