It was delivered quickly and efficiently! Perfect condition. My old copy developed a “freeze” problem at the 2/3 mark. This copy is fine at a reasonable price.

Often hard to find this film in digital or streaming formats; having on BluRay for use on my PS5 is nice to watch whenever I want. Great movie from my youth!

This review is for "Where Eagles Dare" in Blu-Ray, Region-Free -- with GERMAN as a spoken language, including English and several other Western European spoken languages, too. Also, subtitles in foreign languages, also. This version of the movie was released just a few weeks ago, but I have waited for this for decades!I have hoped that somehow, someone would finally release this movie with a GERMAN vocal track, and that is exactly what this Blu-ray version does. Not only that, but the video transfer is excellent and does not suffer at all from some of the strange "darkening" of scenes that are often noted in some older Blu-ray video transfers. The images are clean and rich, and the soundtrack is excellent also.That one scene in the castle where the two SS officers (one is "Major" von Hapen, and the other is "Colonel" Kramer) go at each other because of the growing intrigue surrounding the capture and upcoming interrogation of U. S. General Carnaby is absolutely PRICELESS in the German language (which I understand and speak). I hope you enjoy it, too. I only waited over 40 years for this film to be released in the U. S. with foreign languages, and now it's here! If this is what you want, be certain that you get this one version -- do not confuse it with others or you'll be disappointed....

I remember watching this movie at the movie theater and I was hoping that the opening scene would be awesome in Blu-Ray, but was disappointed. The snow scene of the alps was lost in grain! Overall, the movie was good, but just not a true Blu-Ray. I get that we are using new technology on old film, but was hoping this one would be AWESOME. However, the price is right!

This is such an amazing movie. Action, suspense, plot twists, great scenery. Outstanding!

This movie at least looks like it should, new and wrapped in the clear plastic.Not like the other movie I just rated.

Great entertainment. Clint Eastwood and Richard at their very best.

A workmate of mine around 1969 advised me to go and see this movie which I never did. First saw it on TV a number of years later and straight away thought it was one of the best war movies ever made. I eventually bought the Video, then the DVD and now the BluRay and have watched on the different formats many many times, even though I know what is going to happen. The story is excellent as is the photography the scenery and the acting. definitely one of the best.

It does not need a review since it speaks on its own. Credible action and superlative action by most of the cast.

Dieser Kriegsfilm ist mit den Schauspielern Richard Burton und Clint Eastwood zur Legende geworden. Ab Film Anfang bis Schluss hat mich dieser Spionage Thriller mitten ins Geschehen mitgenommen. Sehr cool ausgeführt und tolle Filmlocation auf der Burg in Oesterreich welche heute besucht werden kann. Heim Kino pur.

Love this movie. Love BluRay. Can I tell the difference between this and the DVD version? Possibly, if I squint. Whatever, I want to own this on a physical medium so I'm never left fruitlessly searching my smart TV when I want some guilty me-time with a great story, great actors and lots of MP40s.
