I was expecting a book on "Knife Fighting Targets." That's not what this book is about. It's about fighting with a knife. I found more online about targets, in one webpage, than in this book. The webpage gave me: the targets, the type of attack (slash or stab) needed, the effects, the time factors for simple wounding, bleeding, immobilization, and death. None of that is in this book. I am very disappointed.

If the title of this book was: "How To Fight With A Knife"I would have given it FIVE STARS but it's title led me to believe that it was about KNIFE TARGETS and it's NOT.VERY DECEPTIVE.

I was extremely disappointed to discover that KF was mostly the same book, with two additional chapters and altered chapter titles. The pages that are in both books are identical.Both books are aimed at beginners, so it makes sense to purchase the book containing all the chapters, “Knife Fighting.”

Excellent book. Easy to understand

this is almost the same book as the knife fighting book don't bother if you bought the that! only buy one or the other as the fighting books good one ! as stated there is no extra info on targets as I bought both I am a bit pist as i have ended up with a duplicate !

L'ouvrage est bien conçu, et permet d’optimiser la défense des zones vitales lors d'un engagement au couteau, mais clairement, en France il ne s'adresse qu'à un public de spécialistes : policiers, militaires ou gardiens assermentés.Dans ce cas c'est un bon manuel qui permet de comprendre, avec une maîtrise correcte de l'anglais, tout les risques que présente une attaque au couteau et quelles sont les zones que vous devez particulièrement protéger si vous êtes un professionnel des armes et si vous devez faire face à un adversaire armé d'un couteau : une situation dangereuse même pour des professionnels bien formés, il y a donc toujours quelques choses à retenir.Ayant été formé à l'instruction commando il y a maintenant 30 ans je rafraîchis mes connaissances régulièrement par la lecture d'ouvrages anglo-saxons qui sont le seul équivalent des travaux du colonel de gendarmerie Raymond Carter en France. Si tous les ouvrages américains ne sont pas des classiques, il y a toujours des nouveautés à intégrer.Par contre, je trouve que ce type d'ouvrage n'a rien a faire aux mains de civils, et que les armes blanches sont des armes de 6ème catégories en France et que leur port est rigoureusement interdit (encore heureux compte tenu de l'épidémie d'agression à l'arme banche qui sévit en Europe en relation ou pas avec des actions terroristes).

THIS BOOK IS THE BOMB, I USED THE TECHNIQUES TAUGHT IN THIS BOOK AND WAS FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER AND SERVING 25 YEARS FOR IT, THE BOOK WORKED FOR ITS PURPOSES BUT BE WARNED!
