This is the second one I purchased from here. The first one was from a different vendor and the color was off, too light really more transparent. This one the color is great and matches perfect and all the connections fit perfectly didn't have to break anything cut anything so that it can fit. And the connectors are black just like the original equipment. I put it on within an hour after I received it. Everything works great ! I would definitely recommend it!!

This was Not a difficult install. And believe me, the 'hundreds' of dollars you save, when you do it yourself! You do need to remove the interior lining, by the corner in the trunk, to get access. Once you can see how it's installed. Maybe at the most, about 30+ minutes. (You will need a small socket wrench set), to remove the old one and installing the new.

I have an XTS 2013 Platinum CAD. LH rear plastic case broken. Replacement housing came well wrapped on time. What I didn't fully understand is that there are two lighting mechanisms. The main housing itself contains at least one LED (since there is a cable to it), however, the brake, turn indicator, (and possibly the lights on) illumination comes from a $160 or more round hub that contains more LEDs. This hub screws into the bottom of the original housing. The separate hub (plus separate connector) appears to have 3 optical fiber outputs that illuminate the plastic inside of the replacement housing. If you crawl under the back cowling you should be able to rotate (disconnect) the hub from the main assembly. If it doesn't work when brakes/turning are activated you probably need one of these hubs (it has a number of heat sinks protruding from it). So I had to replace both the housing and this bottom plug in. To replace the housing, the mechanic removed the trunk felt lining, the bottom cowling (screws in wheel well and under the carriage + numerous snap ons) and then the entire light assembly can be removed. The product sold here was a perfect match to the GM OEM at considerable savings. I recommend it. I also recommend professional installation by a mechanic who knows what they are doing. Make sure you check the operation of the separate plug-in. That may be your only problem (better if it works) . If it is ok, then it should only take less than 1 hour to replace the assembly, etc. I had to make two trips to the body shop, because it was a discovery process for the mechanic and me about how the lamp actually works. The mechanic knew how to disassemble things. Good luck!

This taillight was extremely easy to install. As a woman, I am a real do it yourself-er. This was no project at all. Removed the old cracked one and replaced this one in 15 minutes. Removal/Installation for 2015 XTS: (QTY 3 ) 8 mm screws removed and reinstalled. Top, Middle, Bottom It was easier when I unhooked the spring for the trunk. However, the trunk will NOT to stay up without support and you will need it up.

Left side failed in 2 months. Called in for support. Im a master ase tech and they were giving me a hassle to return.

The light came very fast, packaged really nice and neat and the correct fit. I was skeptical at first but after reading the reviews I ordered and no regrets at all. I watched the mechanic install it and it didn't take him no time at all. I highly recommend this seller.

Totally disappointing, no lights in plastic. Had to spend another $299 for 2 lights from dealership. Please be aware
