I love this heating pad! The material is VERY sturdy and durable! It doesn’t have a bad smell and the size is perfect for me! The beading inside doesn’t shift around so the heat is evenly distributed. I would highly recommend buying from here rather than some huge company that doesn’t care about the quality of their products.

I've tried a lot of heating pads at this point. This is the best I've found, though I don't know if anything will really do the job for my pain. If you're looking for humid, microwaveable heat that can be placed in lots of spots on the body, this is the best one. The BEST part about this is that there is NO SMELL. I used to have to use a heating pad at work that smelled like lavender, but if it stayed in the microwave too long it would smell like burning popcorn. A few times my whole office got up thinking there was a fire. Yikes... Anyway this one can be microwaved for 4+ minutes with no smell at all. What's nice about it is that it definitely is a "humid" heat source. This is what I was instructed to get as opposed to an electric heating pad (which I also have) by a physical therapy program I went through. I actually microwave this on top of a paper towel because it does become damp when you take it out of the microwave. It was slightly smaller than I expected. It does cover an adult's back, but just "most of" the middle. It doesn't extend over the sides. Still, it's a good size that can fit well on your back, shoulder, arm, leg, hip, lower back, etc. This thing can get really hot. After experimenting, I have the best luck folding it in 1/3rds and microwaving for 4 minutes. If I had time to sit in front of the microwave, maybe I would do 2 minutes per side. After it's been heated up initially, if you want to keep using it throughout the day, you probably only need to do about 2 minutes at once. If you're going to put your weight on it though, 4 minutes might be a bit much as it really does get HOT. I've had this for quite a few months now (not yet a year) and I do think it's slightly lost its ability to retain heat. I still think it's the best one I've found and would recommend it to anyone looking for a humid heat source.

We love these pads for heating. They hold heat evenly for a good length of time. Using them for cold is not as effective. They don’t get cold enough and the one we used for the freezer started to have an odor when it dethawed. I can only describe it as an old refrigerator smell. My freezer is new and doesn’t have any odors so I’m not sure how that even happened. So we use the one for heating. If we use the other one for cold, we put it back in the freezer before it completely dethaws to prevent the smell. But we love the size and feel of these pads and do recommend purchase.

These are the best thing I’ve bought in a very long time. My neuromuscular massage therapist has been telling me to use moist heat for years! Do you know how horrible it feels to have a damp towel around your neck with a hot rice bag in the towel? Clothing gets wet, just yuck! Thankfully I found these moist heat microwaveable heating pads. A minute thirty in the microwave and unbelievable moist, but dry, heat. Thank you so much for designing these!!!

I ordered this pad because I have chronic shoulder and neck pain from an injury from long ago and I use both heat and ice packs depending on how I'm feeling that day. I found this and thought it was cool that I could use it for both hot and cold. I wanted something that had weight to it, not just a regular heating pad. When it came I was really surprised by the weight. It feels substantial...not like a plastic heating pad. I also liked that I didn't have to plug it in. It was bigger than expected so I had to fold it over twice to fit it in the microwave so my turntable would turn. The first try I heated it too long so I had to wait a minute to take it out. Next time I'll just heat it in 1 min intervals. It really does steam and there was some moisture but it was really nice. The heat was even all the way through and there weren't any hot spots. The pad is large enough to cover my whole back which is nice, and it stayed warm for about 15 minutes before it started to cool down. I also wanted to try it cool because I use ice pack quite a bit. Left in my freezer overnight in a plastic bag as the instructions. It wasn't as cold as I expected it to be...like my ice packs are, but it turns out I really liked that. Because it wasn't frozen like an ice pack and the material is soft I didn't even need to lay a towel across my skin. I just draped it over my shoulders. It's really hard to describe the sensation, it was cool...refreshing and relaxing. The best I can describe how it feels when you are hot and take a shower that is not cold...but cool. I really enjoyed it! It folds good so I could drape it across my neck and shoulders and because it has weight too it, it didn't slip off. When I use my gel or traditional ice packs, I have to use something to hold them on or lay against something. With this pad, I can just sit up and it stays around my neck and shoulders. Really glad I found this.

The heating pad itself is nice. But I paid the extra money for this one because it came with a cover. Regretting it now. The cover is very cheaply made and it is missing the other side of the velcro to keep it closed. Plus, it's about an inch shorter than the actual pad, so the pad keeps slipping out of the cover. I would have been better off buying the cheaper heating pad and using a pillow case as a cover.

I had shingles on my chest around my back and to my spine around a few months ago, but now I've been suffering with the nerve damage. I tried this heating pad and it's the right length to go from my chest under my arm and around to my spine. When I go to bed I wrap it around me and it puts me to sleep. I love the moist feeling it gives me. This is exactly what I needed when I go to bed. No more pain. Bed time is my favorite time. I'm at peace!.....thank you!

Finally I got heavy enough product which doesn’t need some one to press on it… wonderful

It is great for my neck and problems, and was a life-saver when I had covid (for back pains). I need a bigger version of this which doesn't exist, so I will order at least one more.. it is not cheap but the health benefits make it worth it.. I would love to have 10 of these all heated up. just like a hot sand bath I guess. but it is a shame that it last about 10min and then you need to reheat it...

Compare this heating pad with the usual gel type this one doesn’t hold the heat as long comparing to the gel type but still it did it job and the length of product is much longer than the usual gel type so can cover more area.
