I've been a Gillette man for decades, but the replacement blade cartridges have gotten as bad a printer ink, price-wise so i decided to see what Amazon had on offer as an alternative. These are just as good and at a much better price-point. I'm converted.

Ok I am seriously impressed with this one. I had no expectations going in as I thought it would a just noch above the Dollar store products. But Amazon proved me wrong.The razor is fantastic. It glides across the contours of my face and I dont feel any drag or pull. Gives a perfect clean shave with no effort or irritated skin. The only other razor which has come this close to giving a comfortable smooth experience has been my Gillete Labs which I have used for the past 2 years.Amazon really outdid themselves with this one. Bringing quality products to people at affordable prices.

As many, I wanted to compare this product to the more popular Gillette lineup of disposable razor blades.These did a very comparable job for the first shave but quickly had a diminished performance there after at least compared to the more popular and expensive brands. So, comfory and quality vs price and performance. If it's affordable, I would use the more expensive brands that have an initial higher price but, lasts longer with more shaving opportunities.Give these a try. It's definitely worth the asking price.

As a woman, I use these razors for my entire body. Men’s razors will always be superior—gives such a close shave for the smoothest finish, and these razors are great quality compared to name brand ones out on the market. Especially great for the bikini area

I hate writing bad reviews, but the razor blades on this shaver are so dull that it has caused me to rethink my boycott of Gillette. They don't even work going with the grain of your hair follicles. I would not suggest trying to go against the grain. Ouch! I had to finish my shave using the Gillette Atra Plus (a two-blade razor).After review: I was still feeling bad about writing this review. It dawned on me after using the Schick razor that the Amazon Basic has a purpose. I use it as an "after shave" razor. I use the Amazon Basic shaver after I first shave with the Schick shaver. That way I can give more life to my Schick blade and have some use for the Amazon Basic razor. Once the Schick clears out the heavy bush, the Amazon works well to finish the job. The Amazon Basic is a good finishing razor. It might work well for those who shave every day.I haven't used multi-blade razors in a long while, but I am learning that they work best with a heavy lather of shaving cream... so that the blades can't all reach the beard. The first pass hardly touches, but it does enough to make the second, third, and forth passes much easier as the lather diminishes. Using this razor, you just have to start shaving differently.The "after, after review": The added another star. The more that I use the razor, the better I like it. It doesn't work well if your hair grows a few days old, but it works great if you use it daily. I shave every three of four days. If I was shaving everyday, I'd give it a five-star rating, but as it is, the blades seem dull to other blades that I am using.

I normally shave with double edge razor, shave brush, and shave soap lather.I used this razor to shave after a 2-day growth of whiskers. I used canned aerosol lather. The shave was good.I would recommend for everyday shavers or every other day.I don't feel this should be used if you only shave 2 days a week, or after several days growth. It will pull/drag whiskers.That is reason for 4 star rating.The trimmer works, but be very careful. Extremely sharp.
