Perfect set of leads for my multimeter, good value for what you get!

great variety of connections really well made very easy to use and so many ways to connect to each other really fit for purpose .

I wanted a set of leads and connectors primarily to use with my DC bench power supply. These fit the bill well, particularly due to the included banana plugs and spade connectors. Cable and connector quality seem very good without being outstanding (I have some leads which have a less 'plasticky' feel). I also tried them on a couple of multimeters that I own, and they worked fine with both. Overall a nice set that should cover all the bases for simple electrical testing.

Excellent kit of alsorts of parts. Seem very reasonable quality for the price but best of all, for me...They fit my ancient but ultra reliable Fluke 25

I do a lot of work with smd components on boards frequently these have conformal coatings or varnish added for protection. On occassions I need to penetrate wire insulation. Convention probes are useless for this purpose. Unfortunately the fine probes on these test leads are also useless. Although they look ok the tips are far too blunt to penetrate coatings or insulation. I had hoped to abandon my current technique of using dressmaking pins soldered to the ends of probes or 4mm sockets. As mentioned in other comments the shrouded connectors are rather large and will only fit about 2/3rds of my meters. Overall the quality is good but the design leaves something to be desired. The worst example is the crocodile clips these fit onto 4mm plugs. But no lead with a 4mm plug is supplied. Instead they must be fitted to a 4mm adaptor which must the be plugged onto one of the thick probe tips which has to be screwed inot the handle of the main probe leads. Is this assembly expected to be used in the real world? at 20A? At this price (greater than some multimeters) I expect something better. How about a carry case to keep everything together? I plan to use some of the parts of this kit but in the main I will stick with my old kit. This kit is poorly designed and over priced.
