Easy to use and found a fault...
I got this after plugging something in and getting quite the "nip" from touching 2 metal cased objects that was in the same Surge Protector. I unplugged the surge protector and tested directly on the socket.. 3 green lights (so it says everything is correct) I also checked all the other sockets in my Flat just to make sure, and all gave 3 Green lights. So after a bit of puzzlement as to why I kept getting the occasional "nip" from that one Surge Protector I decided to test the surge protector with this tester.. 2 Green lights... Earth Fault... Yeah the surge protector was not earthed (checked with a multi meter and no connection between the earth sockets in the surge protector and the earth pin on the plug), So problem found with a so called "brand name" surge protector, that cost over £30 and was not safe to use. So this tester helped reassure me that the connections in my flat are safe, and the fault was with a surge protector. Needless to say that sure protector will now be going away to place where it can no longer cause any safety issues for me or anyone else.

Clear indicator
Checked the polarity of some 'added' spurs in our new to us home, never to sure about previous owners competency. All circuits were OK so mind was put at rest. Nice simple plug in, neon indicate issues with polarity.
