Our local Mariano's (Kroger subsidiary of IL) carries three different brands. Target carries this brand, though it's a much smaller size, for about the same $ amount. This brand is high-quality, strong-smell, and good potency for what you're buying. For me and my wife, however, I prefer to add a bunch more vanilla extract than the recipe calls for (multiple table spoons instead of a few tea spoons) so it feels like I am wasting $s buy using 5-10x as much as the recipe calls for. Using a bunch more of this vanilla extract doesn't make it more potent and taste more vanilla-y.

I cook and bake extensively, all of our meals are eaten at home. Nielsen-Massey Mexican Pure Vanilla Extract is a must have ingredient in my pantry. Of all of the vanillas I have tried, this Mexican Pure Vanilla Extract is hands down my favorite! It has a creamy, slightly spicy, earthy flavor that fabulously enhances the flavor of your baked and cooked goods. So versatile, blends well not only with baked goods, but also with many cooked dishes, including those that have tomatoes or are spicy in flavor. While it is true that pure vanilla extract has increased in price, this product is a great value. I highly recommend Nielsen-Massey Mexican Pure Vanilla Extract.

I purchased this vanilla because I can no longer find the authentic Mexican Vanilla that my sister-in-law buys in Mexico. It is very close to to the authentic Mexican Vanilla. It's aroma is excellent!! This vendor is good as well. The next time, I will purchase a little larger bottle as it is more cost effective this way. Thank you!

always the best vanilla! Also the Tahitian is wonderful as well, but somehow, I like the Mexican the best. The delicious aroma and the super flavor of this vanilla makes it stand out against others. It's the only brand to buy!

The most delicious vanilla extract. I like the flavour better that the Madagascar vanilla.
