I’ve never used a self tanner of any type before. I bought this because it’s a lotion and I apply lotion everyday. Perfect.Prep. Your. Skin. If you aren’t using a loofah or washcloth in the shower - start. I do this every shower.Since my skin is usually dry after showering, I need more moisture than I want to rely on with the tanning lotion so I mix one of the other Jergens lotions (usually almond cherry) 1:1. I pump one pump of the tanner and then one pump of the lotion and rub my hands together. I probably use a good 8-10 pumps per application. Your mileage may vary.I apply to my neck, back, butt, boobs, arm pits, legs, feet. All of it. Make sure you scrub your feet with a washcloth before applying. Trust me. Avoid the very dry/calloused areas because it will turn a funky yellow. Not pretty. Wait a few minutes before putting on your clothes.My first time using it - the next day I could see color. But it took about 3 applications (3 days for me) to really see a marked difference. Use it daily until you get the color you want. If you need faster- apply twice a day. Be careful around the knees and elbows. They can get dark faster than the rest. I avoid them entirely and then just rub the lotion over once I’m done massaging it all into the rest of the area.To maintain your color you will reapply every other day if you are a daily showerer. You can get away with more time if you don’t shower daily. If it seems like it’s fading too fast apply daily for a while.I love this stuff. Being able to simply apply with my lotion and get on with my day is fantastic. It’s not an orange tone tan. It’s a neutral tone.Very much recommend. Colors quickly. Not orange. Easy to use. Forgiving if you prep properly. Smells fine- especially since I mix it with other lotions.

I have used Jergen's Natural Glow for years, and it is truly the best self tanner out there. I don't even bother wasting my money trying out other self tanners, because I'm always disappointed in the results, and I always return to Jergen's. I use both the face and body natural glows. I don't tan as easy as I used to and this lotion is a great way to get my tan started and also enhance my tan. I can only speak for the fair to light color, as I have never used the medium to dark, but it does not make your skin orange like many other self tanners. It is just like the name says, a natural glow.I had a friend who had skin cancer years ago, and when I met up with her shortly after her diagnosis, I was so mad at her because she had this beautiful tan, not dark, just a nce golden color. She began laughing when I was ripping into her about tanning after having skin cancer, and she told me she was using Jergen's Natural Glow. I've been a fan of this stuff ever since.

I was actually disappointed when I received it because it is super small (travel size) and also the image is misleading showing daily moisturizer but it was actually just a face lotion.With that said, I decided to use it and I like it. It very subtle and doesn't show streaks. I personally enjoy the scent, to me it smells clean, but it is strong and it lasts a while too.I probably won't rebuy it for my face because it takes many layers to build up a tan but I can see how the daily moisturizer would work well.

EDITED: I love the hint of color that this gave me, but after using it daily, my skin has started to break out. This is the only thing I've changed in my skin care routine, so it has to be it. I'm so bummed, but I won't be using it anymore.I hate wearing foundation, so I thought I'd give this a try. So far, I am loving the color it is giving my skin. I put a little on, twice a day and then at night, I use my Olay. It's just the right shade for me and looks natural. It goes on smoothly and is very moisturizing. It smells good too. Will purchase again.

The product is fine; however, the product description is inaccurate. I chose the option for a 2 oz face moisturizer AND 2 oz daily moisturizer. I received only the face moisturizer. Based on the price, I suspect the error is with the description, not the packing.

I like this lotion , I had tried a few year back and I was trying to remember the brand name , and I finally found it. It works good it gives you that glow and shade, and it doesn’t mess up your clothes. It smells nice too.

My skin loves this! Been using it for years. Absorbs quickly, skin tone appears more even, pleasant light scent, and for me a little goes a long way!
