Excels At Its Intended Purpose
I am a knife and sword affectionado, with over 30+ pieces in my Collection over decades of this hobby. This is the first knife design of this nature and I see great potential in it for self-defense, by itself or paired with another dagger or short sword.Itās certainly worthy being a part of my larger collection due to its quality and ease of use.I am ordering a second one in hope to learn to use them together and perform some tricks, great way to keep my hands occupied. The size is perfect for what itās meant to be, making it strong, yet light, without slowing you down in any way. Also makes it fit most pockets, especially of military-style cargo pants.Handle is comfortable, which I had doubts about looking at the pics, but it really is ergonomic. G10 feels solid and is well bolted on, and can be removed, if needed. There are few martial arts that utilize this type of design and I suggest to look into them for basic principles and modes of application.Itās comfortable to hold either way, came with a decent edge, well-balanced, has a nice and thick tang. The ring is just thick enough, though could have been a bit thicker, though I canāt tell if that would mess up the balance.D2 is not a super steel, but a good and reliable one. Certainly more than plenty for this type of knife and for most cutting implements. Sharpening may be a bit challenging (due to the shape of the blade) but doable, if you are into knives, I am sure you have a suitable kit for the business. The price is also reasonable, especially with the holiday sale.Scabbard is especially a nice touch. I got rid of the plastic part and instead plan to use some quality parachord to help wear it with a belt or without, up or upside down. The plastic bit made to wear it with the belt is the only somewhat flimsy part about the whole package. At least it didnāt appear quite great, so I took it off immediately. Though I may be wrong and it could be up to the task just fine, just something I havenāt tested or plan to.This would have been a good neck knife, alas I already have a slender CRKT tanto with an aftermarket scabbard for this role.Scabbard locks in the knife well, making it possible to wear it upside down. At the same time it doesnāt take too much effort to disengage and itās not too noisy. For a āno nameā brand, this is a great knife, especially if they havenāt lied about the steel. Also the serrations are quite nice if you need to cut a rope. They are sharp and the openings are quite wide, so they are certainly not just for the looks.Sometimes you have to make yourself happy, because who else would think that something like this would be a very fun knife to have?..

Price and quality working together
Made a video review too should be available 2 days from this posting. This karambit.... This karambit..... That curve.... That handle. There's so much going right for this is there a catch? So far I've not found one.The handle is smooth and fits great. As hard as the material is it's not hard in the hand either. It's almost soft. It's hard to explain, but the material doesn't give yet feels like it should as smooth as it is.The blade was sharp yet the spine's blade wasn't too sharp. Easily sharpens though. It's light yet feels so sturdy it feels like there's power in your hands. It has grooves to reduce weight, and screws that do this too. It's hard to believe that you can get one for this price and quality of the product. I'm a collector of blades and this has made my top 10 favourite blades. Seems low but I have 200+ blades (some costing $1,00+) so it has a lot to live up to.As far as an edc goes this can conceal pretty easily if done proper. The sheath is sturdy, and again great quality for the price. With a locking feature to make sure it'll stay put you'd spend $80 on one like this. Truly refreshing to see companies that make great quality blades in budget of $30-$50.I'll be doing more with this for sure as this has now become my edc, and will remain so until I find something better (if I do at this price point!).If a question pops up you'll be sure to get an answer from me. I love talking blades. This made my week for just $30!

Great quality, design and feel with a price tag to brag about !Ā”!
The media could not be loaded. Great blade with D2 steel with a price that I feel like I got away with a steal !Ā”! This style knife is extremely dangerous and shouldnāt even be used by anyone not familiar with the many differences from this style to a traditional knife make. Saying that just to be responsible. I love this knife like really love. The case is very adaptable to many belt sizes and positioning of knife handle. Beautiful handle color and blade style. The 2 serrated cut outs on either side are a little close for comfort to me but thatās the only dislike I have.

Better value than you think
The sheath, and handle FAR exceed expectations! A really solid lock makes inverted neck carry no worry at all, despite the relative heft of the knife. The back has a removable clip with an actual locking mechanism on it, so you can easily attach it to all sorts of things without it budging, but can quickly remove it with the push of a button! The blade geometry is decent. The point is a little more acute than I would prefer. Seems at risk of breaking. However, the edge is really nicely ground. It's a compound grind having a flat bevel with a sabre edge for most of it, but a chisel grind at the serrations. This all translates to deeply penetrating cuts with greater edge durability than if it had just been a simple flat grind. A Moran grind would've been ideal, in my opinion.Overall this is a well designed product for the money. Better than some pieces for which I've paid more than double the price in the past.
