I recall asking that question when I first received a gift basket filled with the products. At first, I kind of ignored them, and one day I decided to try to facial wash. OMG, my skin felt so clean and fresh. Then I followed with their scrub. It seemed to pull out the grime in my skin. I thought, have I been walking around with a dirty face all this time? I then finished with the hydrationing lotion. So soothing. What a finish to your facial routine. Okay, you say... That was your experience. It may not be for everyone. All I can say is, once you try it, you will be hooked like me. You will always know the name Aesop. In fact, when I travel I always look to find their store so that I can buy additional product. Never leave home without it.

Love the smell. It is fragrant without being too strong. Smells very fresh and natural. Lightly cleanses and makes my skin feel clean and soft and only takes a very small amount.

I thought I'd give this a try. I didn't realize it would be in a glass bottle. If I had known then I wouldn't have purchased it. I don't notice that it is cleaning my face better than a regular bar of soap. It smells really pretty though. I will go back to Shiseido or another men's cleanser.

This product is very agreeable, the scent is intoxicating! It gently cleanses leaving your skin feel supple and ready to apply a moisturiser. I highly recommend this product to anyone who appreciates a fine cleansing experience.
