These guides work extremely well to keep your 1/4" seams accurate and straight. I found they work best in their full size. So, for my top loading machine I place the full strip, covering the edges of the bobbin cover. You can then carefully remove the bobbin cover as needed. Replace the cover and press down the guide. The guide remains sticky and will last for a number of times.

This is an interesting device. I am getting more consistent scant quarter inch seams.

This is a great product. I have left these on my featherweight for a couple of years and when I remove it, the paint isn’t damaged and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue.

This is a wonderful tool for sewing scant 1/4” seams when quilting. Handy placement tool for accuracy. Can be removed and reapplied. Easily trimmed to accommodate access to top loading bobbins and slide on sewing accessory boxes. Highly recommend!
