Very action packed can't wait to read the next one
Freeing Jasper by Riley Edwards is the second book in her 707 Freedom series. I really enjoyed the story about Jasper and Emily. I'd give the story 4.8 stars and can't read the next book in the series.Emily Jenkins works at a bank when she comes face to face with a bank robber. Jasper was there and steps in but it exposes the 707 team as he calls two of them in for assistance. Since she's now knows of the secretive black ops group she'll recognize that Jasper doesn't want to be around women with children. There's back story that will bring to light her husband, the father of her son and drugs being funneled into the Army base. Will Jasper tell her his past and why he doesn't do well around kids? How will the 707 rescue her son when he's kidnapped?Jasper Walker avoids getting involved with women who have children but when faced with a robbery he doesn't hesitate to step in to save her. He tries to stay away but Emily is friends with Lenox and Lily so she'll be hard to avoid. But the robbery didn't feel right there's something else going on so he'll step in to watch over Emily and her son. There's a exciting ending and I can't wait to read more about the 707 Freedom Series.

Realistic Military Romance
What a way to start a tale! It is like a shootout at the OK Corral then gets more nerve-wracking from there. Then the action really heated up in all ways. Love it! Freeing Jasper is my first book by Riley Edwards—I need more…like now. There is nothing better than a group of Black Ops, hot alpha men to make my day.Freeing Jasper is Jasper Walker’s story and the second book in the Black Ops series. Jasper is a fascinating guy. He is a man who is emotionally scarred but learned through his training how to push every emotion out of his head to succeed in his mission. His role for their assignments is that of assassin which he can do without a second thought. His allegiance is to his team and keeping them safe.Emily Jenkins has the ability to change Jasper if he lets her. Unfortunately, as a widow and single mom, she also has the one thing that Jasper avoids at all costs—a child. Emily has secrets of her own that center around her marriage, her son, and bad decisions made in her past.Jasper and Emily are the perfect complements to one another. It turns out that they rotate being strong when the other needs someone. Both characters are loyal and inspire loyalty among their friends. The friends are wonderful ancillary characters. It is fun to see how they all meld together in some ways but remain separate too.Riley Edwards does an excellent job showcasing the life of a special operations team. The kind of men they are and how they must remove personal feelings from the goal of a mission. She also shows how their women and significant others must adjust their life to love these men. Freeing Jasper is a book that I will read again. It works fine as a standalone; however, you will want to know Shane’s story though. Trust me!Currently, the first book in the series is free with Kindle Unlimited or $1.99. Freeing Jasper is only $.99. You can’t go wrong with either purchase. Now I’m waiting patiently for the next book in the series and checking out Ms. Edwards’ other offerings.

So in love with Jasper ❤️❤️❤️
Another hot, suspenseful book filled with hot Military Men by Riley Edwards! How can one go wrong with a Bad@ss, Alpha Man in the Military? You honestly can’t. Jasper captured my heart in book 1 Free and I was so happy to get the rest of his story in Freeing Jasper. My heart ached for him - just wanted to jump into the book and give him huge hugs (Emily took care of him for me though). He is 100% swoon worthy.Jasper and Emily’s story is one filled with guilt, hope, denial, faith, love and more. An emotional rollercoaster all around. When Jasper encounters Emily for the first time he has feelings that come to the surface after years of being either ignored or put on the side from a very traumatic experience he went through. He does everything to push Emily away and ignore the attraction between the two. When Emily becomes in danger from her past Jasper steps up and will he become the man she needs????Freeing Jasper had me from page one and kept me wanting more page after page. There was suspense, angst, and so much more. I absolutely love Riley Edwards and her writing style. I can’t wait for more from her.* Review By Chasing The Words Book Blog

Emily and Jasper
Each of these books features a man who is in turmoil over something in their past. Jasper’s story is heart wrenching and he’d tried to drown his feelings as a man whore. When he met Emily he was attracted to her voice before even seeing her.Through the series of events in the book they become closer and he had to realize that he needed closure on his earlier relationships before he could be happier in the present.

love
Our special op soldiers are human. They see and have to do horrible things. Their lives have been uprooted. Family life is almost impossible. A lot of sadness and lost love have entered their lives. For Jasper, guilt of a lost love and child is eating him alive. Emily entering his life is a good send, But his guilt is preventing him going forward. His team is the best to help him see forward. Emily has had much trauma and loss too. Her ex almost ends he son and her existence. Persistence and love can win if their is trust. I really like Riley’s writing and stories .

whoa daddy
If you don’t read any other Riley Edwards book ever (hahahahaha trust me you will!!) then this should be the one you pick up.Whilst elements of this story do follow on from the first in the series, I honestly think you can read this as a stand-alone and it won’t affect your reading at all - but I promise reading Free first will bring benefits. So Jasper…is not the book boyfriend, he’s the one you want to bring to life and marry! The characters in this book /series have such depth and backgrounds that speak to them in the present and make you want to dig in and understand more and more about them. It helps you forgive and move past elements of their behaviour and personalities that you otherwise might find challenging, makes you root for their hea and whilst at times you are happy they are feeling this deep, makes you happy when ultimately forgiveness is delivered.Jason is such an integral part of this story and Emily is such a wonderful mother, as well as an amazing partner for Jasper. Not willing to settle, she calls him out on his behaviour and whilst knowing her heart might never recover, she pushes for more at the risk of pushing Jasper away.Just an emotional story throughout I genuinely adore and return to this book time after time

From a painful beginning comes a beautiful ending
I really enjoyed this book and the way it dealt with a painful subject. The way the author has exposed the secret, talked through it and brought the hero out the other side was a pleasure to read. The inclusion of the past really brought this book to life for me. As always, a great storyline and the interactions between the hero and heroine was dynamic. Keeping the other characters from previous books involved made me hungry for more.

LOVE JASPER!!
I don't know where to start.... I loved Jasper and Emily's story, but i absolutely adore Jasper!!Jasper is such an amazing character, so beautifully written. As a member of a Special Ops team, that fly under the radar, the lengths he will go to protect those he cares about, even if it's protecting them from himself, are incredible.Emily is an amazing woman, with a huge capacity for love and understanding. She truly is worthy of Jasper, if only Jasper will let her in.A great book written about the the men, who work in the dark, and the women that bring them the light.
