Stable guide for loose bottom sliding doors
Excellent guide for top mount hanging doors to unobtrusively secure loose lower edges. Easy to install and reasonably priced.

Nice, but needs some refining
I received these Prime-Line N 6566 Sliding Pocket Door Bottom Guides (the actual product card lists the manufacturer as "PLPCI") today and was glad to get them so as to solve my sliding pocket door problem of not staying centered when closing. I have already installed two of the four I purchased and I am pleased with the results of holding the pocket door steady as it slides across the door opening! BUT, first, when installing, make sure you have the guide where you want it horizontally. There is no adjustment for horizontal placement like there is for vertical placement! I used only the 'slots' for vertical placement when I installed these guides. Second, each of these guides (1 guide per card) comes with 4 very small nails, which I did not prefer. Instead, I used #4, 1/2" screws and they worked great. They will let me make fine adjustments to the vertical placement of the guides easily, versus nails. If you miss your spot, you can just unscrew the screw instead of trying to remove a small nail. So, if I were making improvements to this guide, there would be slots for vertical placement (which there are) as well as horizontal placement (which there isn't). Just a nail hole. Secondly, there would be small screws instead of small, difficult to hammer in nails and keeping the guide where it needed to be, and will it more difficult to remove nails (damage to the guide or the door casing could result) if adjustments need to be made.I placed both of the actual plastic guides inside the door casing/molding so they would not be facing door traffic or vacuum cleaners that might bend the guides. This seem to work very well and are now out-of-the way from damage by feet or vacs.Overall, I am happy with these glides, over the existing separate glides I had on either side of the sliding door. Hopefully these will withstand regular use of the doors and not mar the door itself, which I will be watching. I paid a little over $3 for each guide.......I would have had a problem paying much more than that for these guides! So, yes, I would purchase these again, but would more readily do so if the above changes were made to the glide, that would make it easier to install accurately!

Worked great
These were easy to instal and a lot better than the plastic version that was previously on the frame base . Keeps door level when opening and therefore makes it glide better

Great buy
Perfect fit and pretty easy to install. I would recommend some needle nose pliers to hold the nail.

No more rattling
Good fix for old rattling pocket doors from the 60s.

Exact Replacement
After 20+ years my previous sliding door guide finally wore out/broke. I needed a replacement that was of as good quality. Lo, it exists! This was slightly different, but very close to the original. Installation was a snap, and my door slides as before. It looks to be the same materials as my original so my expectations are that this will last for another 20+ years. Highly recommend.

Although it is functional, the plastic bumpers aren't adhered to the metal guide itself & easily fall off. I suggest gluing them on before installation.Unknowingly one of mine fell off not long after installation, & my sweeper ate it. Now one side of my brand new door is getting marred at the bottom because it occasionally rubs up against the raw metal. Luckily, the door is unfinished temporarily hung it so we could get the correct hardware placement before sanding & finishing it. Otherwise I'd be super angry. If replacement bumbers are not available, replacing this thing is going to be a huge pain, considering the trim on one side will have to be removed again.
