horrible after sales support
After online driver download and installation, the laptop was not able to detect the Card Reader, so I raised a call with Scm Microsystems website. After long wait, they replied that there is not support for Smart Card Readers. If u had purchased other products then we could have supported and fixed the issue faced by u. I had to fix the issue myself. Now, the Card reader is working fine. Word of caution, this device is ElectroStatic sensitive. They will not tell u the meaning of this. I searched in Google and found that if u touch the device with your hand regularly, the device may start malfunctioning. So, I always touch it with a gloves. Better don't purchase it.
