8 Bay AA AAA Battery Charger (USB High-Speed Charging, Independent Slot) for Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries (No Adapter)

Bargain of a charger. Bought on offer at just over £5. It’s a great starter charger without investing to much. I want to reduce my disposable battery usage but I don’t want to invest heavily in rechargeable battery’s yet. I saw this and for a great price and thought why not. Been using for a few weeks and love the thing far better than my old energiser charger. I’ve no idea if it charges the battery to full power or not but the battery’s last longer and are more consist now than my old branded charger. Don’t get me wrong this is only an entry charger but a great one at that. Battery’s fit? They feel secure and charge straight away with no wiggling needed. Charge time after the initial charge which I assume it was doing repairs on some of the battery’s it’s so much fast than my old charger. Few hours max rather than 8+ hours. It the thing packs up in 6 months I’ll still be happy and just buy another (on offer). The time saves is great.

Such a good charger can charge different sizes at same time. Easy to use. Reasonable value.

I already had a 4 bay PowerOwl USB charger that I still use without fault but since obtaining this 8 bay charger, it's been touch and go. Firstly, I really like PowerOwl products and as well as being aesthetically pleasing, they are simple and easy to use straight out of the box. The problem I have had with this unit is that it keeps informing me (through red flashing lights) that the battery(ies) are faulty. Ok, so I bought a new set of rechargeable batteries and the unit still indicates a fault. When placed into my old 4 bay unit, no issues! I've learnt now to not trust this unit as the batteries still actually charge, even when indicated as faulty. Sadly, I have missed the return window. Will have to think twice about purchasing another unit. Update Jan 2023 Since my review, PowerOwl Customer Service contacted me to discuss the potential fault with the unit. After explaining the fault they were in no doubt that they were going to replace it free of charge. 1 week later, I received the new charger and from here on I have not had any issues with it. I can't comment on its longevity but I am in no doubt that the after sales service and follow up has been superb! 2 stars upgraded to 4 stars! Thank you PowerOwl!!

Reviewing 8-slot charger (ZN825E) mainly plastic construction using quality materials, solid, compact and lightweight, ideal for travelling. USB adapter not supplied but does include a USB cable. Can charge batteries individually or in any combination. Individual LED lights indicate status of each battery. Silent in operation. Outstanding value for money making this an easy recommendation. (Purchased separately for use with packs of POWEROWL Goldtop AAA and AA batteries)

Charger and batteries arrive in combined package. Does what it says - charges in a reasonable time and batteries seem of good quality with no issues powering my devices. Reasonable value for money at first impressions; longer term use will tell; but would purchase again.

It's very easy to use the battery and charger is fantastic

I purchased these to use in my Aqara video doorbell camera as there is no wired connection in my house. Originally, these seemed ground-breaking as they worked and recharged so easily. After about a month, it became clear that within just a FEW HOURS of putting freshly-charged batteries into my doorbell, the charge had depleted and they would need recharging. I tried to isolate this problem down to the doorbell initially but checking each setting. This meant disabling pretty much every feature (even the video itself) so that it would be as efficient as possible on the battery. The issue has constantly persisted. It’s been about 6 months and now the batteries are effectively useless. The capacity has gotten so weak that there’s virtually no point even using these batteries. When I put in non-rechargeable AAs (like Duracell), the doorbell lasts for about 6 weeks. When I use these, the doorbell lasts for about 1 hour. What’s the point in getting these if you need to charge them more regularly than your phone. Beyond disappointed with this purchase, and I wish more of the reviews had been written after a few months of battery deterioration instead of on day 1 of them working exceptionally well. Can’t dissuade you enough from getting these. They are now completely obsolete.

Sono pienamente soddisfatto. È molto facile da usare e i LED di stato sono davvero utili: permettono di capire subito il livello di carica di ogni batteria e segnalano anche quando una batteria è ormai a fine ciclo vita e non riesce più a mantenere la carica. Un grande punto a favore è la possibilità di caricare fino a 8 batterie contemporaneamente, anche di tipo diverso (solo AA o AAA oppure AA+AAA), cosa estremamente comoda in base alle esigenze quotidiane. Apprezzo molto la presenza della porta USB-C, che consente di utilizzare tranquillamente cavi e alimentatori già presenti in casa (il cavo è comunque incluso nella confezione). Questo lo rende pratico sia in casa che in viaggio. Non ho riscontrato alcun difetto durante l'utilizzo.
