I play guitar and was thinking about this for composition and playback. How much storage doe it have?** A: You should look into a groovebox (Deluge from NZ is best, mc707, mpc or a major DAW for the application you are describing. This is an excellent analog synthesthizer with 500 presets/patches that can save a sequence to each. That could complment a song but you would need a way to record everything if you were to compose entire songs with it. A looper pedal and a drum machine with this synthesizer and your guitar would go a long ways as well. Cheers and good luck. **Q: Are the keys full sized?** A: No they are not. **Q: Had heard that sometimes patches can go completely silent during parameter changes - has anybody experienced anything like this?** A: I have only seen something like this if I am using a preset and alter the volume on one of the VCOs or the Cutoff. Some presets only use one of the three VCOs and altering the volume on the one used by a preset (and the knob happened to be lower in the first place) would make me lose sound but turning the VCO back up would correct that. Same goes for the cutoff.
