If there is a pre-out/main-in loop, use a "Y" connector as shown so that the internal power ampli-fier can still be used in the main surround sound room. When you configure asystem for a second surround sound room, consider bridging the center channelamplifier to 80 watts if the listener prefers high volumes. The center channel per-forms 60 to 80 percent of the dynamics of a movie soundtrack. You can use this same type of connection to select the zone. It shows diagrams on ways to do this. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Execellent AMP *by on Reviewed in the United States June 20, 2014* Very easy to set up, performs very well. I had some outdoor speaker wire runs that were well over 100' and anticipated that bridging would be required. Nope. This amp drives all 12 channels nicely. I have only had it set up for a few months now, but very pleased with the performance so far. I would actually dock 1/2 a star for the following reasons. The individual output level controls for each channel are located on the back of the amp making them relatively inaccessible. Your pretty much stuck with whatever volume setting you set it at, unless you install a volume control unit for each speaker pair or speaker zone. My only other gripe is how this product was shipped to me. It showed up on my door step in the same standard box that it comes with directly from the manufacturer. With this very minimal packaging technique, you would have to have a lot of confidence in UPS or other couriers to deliver a $1k stereo component without causing some damage to the unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for whole house audio *by on Reviewed in the United States October 18, 2020* Purchased and installed about a year ago. Runs a few ceiling speakers for surround sound and the remaining channels used for whole house in-ceiling audio. I power mine through a home theater surge protector because, well, this is Florida and clean power is tough to come by. Rock solid so far, does what its supposed to do. Make sure you understand the specs and requirements of your speakers like if running them in series or parallel, impedance, etc. and you'll be fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to setup *by on Reviewed in the United States October 14, 2017* Easy to setup, and works great to power speakers through out my house and pool. I added a Sound Activated Automatic Two-Way Source Selector (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9YVL90) to automatically switch between an Apple Airport Express and the audio out on my main family room AV receiver.
