It’s pretty awesome.
I personally love this thing, but I’m going to try to give it as full/fair an assessment as possible in terms of potential downsides for most users. Here goes... Pros: So, so smooth. Decent size. Thin enough that you’re not wasting a bunch of paper. This is good for one subject, or one part of a very detailed study. (e.g. detailed notes on 5 chapters of a highly-technical certification exam guide.) Lightweight. Paper is a soft white (I prefer bright white but at least it’s closer to white than it is to “cream” or, worse, that migraine-inducing Life Noble brown-yellow color.) Lays flat. Dries fast. Alignment dots along top and bottom lines. From a sensory perspective, this paper is nothing short of bliss-inducing to use. Rule is wide enough that people who enjoy calligraphy will probably find this paper accessible and easy to use. Cons: Could have a sturdier cover. Not really an issue for me as I don’t go places to study. Super-smooth, non-pressure-sensitive pens like Waterman Carene have to be used with care. Either you hit the sweet spot or it’s not going to encounter enough friction to lay down ink. Apica doesn’t make dot grid paper, but this is mostly a gripe because I need to draw charts & diagrams alongside my notes. Rule is slightly wide for my taste, but again, I’m using these for professional study, not pleasure writing. So I prefer 5-6mm rule, whereas 6.5-7mm may be fine for most purposes.

Good enough.
Good value. Old school design that I love. Very smooth, white paper. No ghosting, no spreading. Mediocre shading, sheening and decent shimmer properties. Decent construction. Their premium paper is slightly better IMO, and per page somewhat similar in price on Amazon.

I really like this notebook.
You can write on the cover paper, and after the ink dries it is permanent unlike some other notebooks with too glossy of a cover. The paper is thick, opaque, and does not allow my fountain pen ink to feather. The pagers are sewn together, and the notebook lies flat so that you don't have to fight against it to write all the way up to the gutter. I use it for journaling, and Bible study.

Wonderful notebooks for fountain pen users
These notebooks hit the value sweet spot. The paper is smooth and holds ink well. I've been in grad school now for about two years and have used these exclusively at the rate of one or two per class. I wouldn't have wanted a more expensive notebook for that purpose. I use these with a Lamy Safari or Pilot Metropolitan pen and various inks and I have had no issues with feathering, etc.

Fountain pen tolerant . . . up to a point.
A fountain-pen tolerant notebook for all but the wettest pens. You can overload this paper, but you kind of have to work at it. For most M nibs - they are fine. Wish they offered units with more pages. Good stuff though.

Quality paper
I like the choices in color. Last time I bought a lt blue notebook, and this time, the red appeals to me.
