Quick delivery, Quality tables
1984 Navy dive tables give divers, who know how to use them and the exceptions to the rules (Cold and arduous, next greater depth and time, old injuries, etc), a good idea where they stand with regard to residual nitrogen and a great tool to plan subsequent dives and avoid decompression sickness. Too bad these skills are rarely taught in entry level SCUBA courses.

Good Tables--Not As Easy As PADI To Use
Definitely not as easy to use as the PADI dive table. Recommend buying the PADI version at a dive shop. Thing is, while dive computers are the most common way to track multiple dives, depth and so on, the margin for error is way more conservative with dive tables. Comparing what your dive computer tells you with a dive table gives you a better idea of how to do multiple dives with greater safety. I've been a diver for over forty-five years and do like dive computers. I also am not willing to give a comparison of my dive computer with dive tables, conservative as they may be. Had the bends once, been to the chamber and am not anxious to repeat. Now, I use the computer and tables to be sure. May be important for older divers as our bodies do change (yes, I know it is a bitcheroo) with age. Anyway, these tables are a good choice if you are very familiar with using dive tables. If not, get the PADI version.

dive tables
good price fairly quick shipping but it is NOT the NAUI dive tables and if you plan on qualifying for certification with these, YOU WILL FAIL. the numbers are set on 1984 navy seals tables not current ones.

Five Stars
Print very small

Good clear information, but thin plastic stock.
A lot of dense information in one place, but plastic is noticably thinner and more bendable than my old NAUI tables card. Sturdiness/durability is suspect for something that may be used in tough conditions.
