Fundamentals of Nursing: The Art and Science of Person-centered Nursing Care

The way my book was packaged for shipment was not good. There could’ve been a problem with it easily, but I was fortunate enough that I did not have a problem. Also, anyone who is familiar with prepU and CoursePoint knows that they are separate purchases from the book, unless you are buying a package deal. Always research before you buy. Pick up the phone and call the company if you have questions.

Using as an assigned textbook for my 1st semester nursing program. Like it so far... wish there were some chapter summaries and that the index were a little better. Sometimes it's hard to find things in pinch. There are Kaplan style questions, real - life scenarios, and QSEN examples which makes the book easier to read and relate to. I'd refer to it even if it weren't assigned.I did rent the book. It came with an access code.

I ordered this to supplement the Coursepoint+ Edition my school mandates we purchase. I cannot study from an ebook. I am a highlighting, page flagging and tabbing fool! The text was listed "used" however is brand new from what I can tell. And while the cover is different from the U.S. version, the content inside, down to the page numbers is identical to it, upon comparison to my ebook. This cover issue bothers me none as the price/condition and content are all that matters!

The book I received was an international version, and the cover didn't resemble this one, but my classmate had the book pictured and prefered this on because it was soft covered and she could sit in bed and read it. Also the hardbound book pages were glossy, making it challenging to read in any lighting. My book pages were not glossy and easier to read. The only downside is the book was 1 1/2 inches thicker than the hardbound book. Overall I was happy with my book.

I was required to purchase this book for my nursing fundamentals class. I think this was a great book and it definitely gave me a great foundation for nursing. I appreciated the detail that went into the book especially when it came to the nursing process. It was clear and gave me a good breakdown of the information.

SUPER fast shipping, and the book was not used. If it was, you'd never know. Even the code for the online resources was intact! This book new is more than twice the price I paid. I will definitely order from this company again.

The book is fine, what you would expect for a required educational resource. What is truly disappointing is the product description. I read it many times to make sure it included access to PrepU and course point. I was fairly confident these were included with the book. THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED, the online code only provides access to a ebook and study resources, I could not access my professors assignments specifically for my class. I had to purchase an additional online code for 3month access from the manufacturer for an additional 75$.
