Intercept™ is the only anti-tarnish product to win the coveted German Environmental Award." There is a lot more info on the website, but my primary concern was the possible effect on stones. I talked to a rep and asked her if there were any particular stones that would be adversely affected, and she said, "No, there are not. You can use the bags for jewelry that has any kind of stones." I've been using these bags in various sizes for several months, and so far I'm happy with them.

I too, had defective bags in my first order. Several of them ripped when I opened them. I was still able to use them to insert rings inside of a larger bag so I shrugged it off. Later, when the vendor reached out to me asking for a review, I replied that I was unable to provide positive feedback, and stated the problem. Just a few days later, I received a replacement order at no charge. All 10 bags opened easily and zipped back up with no problems. I say buy these little bags. They are ever so handy, and the vendor will make it right if you have a problem.

I have ordered and reordered these bags a few times now. I am very happy. I use them to store my Tiffany sterling pieces, as well as my gold jewelry. I put my pieces in clean and they stay perfect when I go to get them again. I like that the bags are clear, so I can see what I am searching for. They are not as pretty as the blue Tiffany pouches, but much better to preserve my growing investment. :) I store all the little bags in a large Tiffany box that the store gave me when I made a purchase not too long ago.

I have Tiffany sterling silver charms and one of the bracelets where each link opens to change out charms. The charms not being worn were becoming quickly tarnished in my high humidity location. After spending time searching for a anti tarnish jewelry box I cam across these pouches. I cleaned all the charms and stored. I like that I can see the contents versus the Tiffany bag. I wish the bags were a little smaller (1.5 in by 1.5in would be perfect), but I fold in half and place in the charm box slot. The zip lock seal on the top is very tight, I can see where fake nails might tear the bag. For me I find the plastic rib on one side and pull apart (I don't have fake nails). So far this has worked out well, I did notice on one charm that I had not cleaned off the all the tarnish and that charm seemed a bit more tarnished than the others. Does tarnish grow tarnish? I'm sure I will be ordering more of these little bags as my collection grows!

These are a perfect size for my silver chains, rings, earrings,etc. I've used them for well over a year, and they continue to keep my jewelry from tarnishing. I don' t know how long they'll continue to work, but expect they'll last awhile. I would order more regardless of how long they will continue to work. No more polishing for me every time I take a piece of silver jewelry out to wear somewhere!

These bags are pretty small. I had ordered a similar product before and could fit a medium hoop earring in them but not these. Its tight. Great for small items. I recommend you check the measurements which I didn't.

Purchased to help keep my silver jewelry from tarnishing. The bags are a good size for multiple pairs of earrings and bracelets that are collapsible, but not for bracelets that don't fold to a smaller size. So far the bags seem to be doing what they are intended for. Would purchase again when needed in the future.

The photo shows one side that is clear. I received bags with both side solid. This means I cannot see what is in each bag. It doesn't work for me.I submitted feedback to the seller but received no response so far. Not sure if it is worth returning these. If I exchange them there is no guarantee I will get the ones as pictured.I bought a larger size from Beadsmith. These are the same bags only larger. They have one side that is clear.
