Grout-Aide Grout & Tile Marker, Almond Restore Your Grout

Easy to use. Too little substance per bottle!

I just tried a little section where it can't be seen; waited for it to dry and the color is more white than almond. I followed the directions and the paint came out a bit too fast, but I wiped up the overspill and it came right off, next time I won't press down so hard on the pen.

Have used Grout & Tile markers before. Wasn’t sure if they would work or not when I first bought them. Was pleasantly surprised. Great way to brighten up my kitchen tile. They actually last quite a while. Just bought a couple more to redo.

I love the idea of this & the result BUT this applicator didn't get me far. It fell in and broke quickly & I was not pressing hard. I had a large counter to do, made it 1/4 way through. Buying 3 more in hopes to finish using the same color. Next time will buy a more durable pen.

Covered up stain on grout wasn't a perfect match but close enough

I have used a lot of grout pens. I usually use white, but needed a somewhat off-white color for the grout on a bathroom floor (the floor and grout are original to the house - we did not choose it). I searched high and lo and this almond color seemed to be close to what I needed. However, the paint seems to have a yellow tint to it and on a bathroom floor between off white tiles - it looks like, well, there might have been a toilet overflow problem which did not clean up properly. The applicator is also hard to use. The applicator "nib" degrades quickly and became unusable. I ended up using a Q-tip to apply the grout paint (a tip I got from an Amazon reviewer about another grout pen). I think I will just use a white grout pen from another vendor and redo this floor.

Bought this for our kitchen counters and was a bit skeptical at first.. When it came in I did all the counters in a day, let them dry over night and when my husband and I woke up the following morning we couldn't believe the differce in our counters that this product does.. Very happy with this Grout-Aide Marker and will be ordering from you again as soon as we need to touch up our counters again..

I really, really wanted to like this product. The theory is great, and it's just what I needed: a way to unstain grout that was discolored but otherwise sound. The almond color was almost perfect, too.One the plus side, the paint in the pen works well. It provides a nice coating over grout - seems to adhere well and give the grout the fresh appearance desired.The problem is the applicator tip - the tip of the pen. It simply does not draw paint smoothly out of the pen. Additionally, it doesn't hold up to being drawn over the rough texture of grout. About 10 minutes into my job, the pen tip was shot. It became too frayed and short to depress the internal valve, and too worn to pull down paint along the notched groove that is clearly for that purpose.The maker of this pen really needs to come up with a better applicator. I loved the part of the job I got done before the tip gave out.
