I couldn't be more thrilled with my Kabuki brush! I bought a brush from a popular make up brand at a high end retail store in order to apply foundation. Unfortunately the brush shed like crazy. I attempted to return it and they sent me home and instructed me to wash the brush a certain way and it still shed all over my face. I then returned it and searched online for a new brush. Fortunately, I found the Angled Kabuki Makeup Brush reviews and application tips by Beauty Junkees and ordered the brush. I was immediately impressed by the density of the brush and softness of the bristles. I practiced applying BB and CC creams, as well as mineral foundation with my new brush and the end result was the best application of those products I ever had. I had been applying these products using my finger in the past and I can't believe the difference the brush makes. Application is fast, easy and I have a more flawless finish than I did in the past I was so pleased with my Kabuki brush that I ordered an entire set of the Beauty Junkees brushes at a great price. My Kabuki brush cost less than the one at the department store and I think it is much better. I also sent some brushes to my Mom to try because I loved mine so much. In addition, I just ordered one of their smaller brushes to try with concealer. If I like that one, I will probably order the entire set. Bottomline, this is a great brush at a great price and the set is the best deal you will find in brushes. I am a very happy repeat customer. Tip - make sure you follow the Beauty Junkees tips for proper care of your brushes. Also, go online and search for videos of makeup application with brushes so you can learn best practices. I like this brush very much. It is soft to the touch but stiff enough for its purpose. I've only used if for applying blush but it does not pick up too much of the color and works well. The customer service is also excellent. I appreciated the fact that they emailed me tips on how to use the brush and when I confirmed that it had been delivered, I received a response from the owner of Beauty Junkees. That was impressive. If I did not already have a flat top kabuki brush, I would have bought one from this company.

I bought this brush for myself, but have quite the collection of professional brushes already and decided to give it to my sister when I saw the old, shedding one she was using. I washed it for her first (Always wash your brushes, first ladies! They'll wear better in the long run and they all tend to have a faint chemical smell when you first get them) and I was impressed. The first wash can tell you a lot about a brush...this one was thick, soft, and very luxurious--I'm not sure I could have told the difference between this and my Sigma brushes, which cost about twice as much. No shedding, either, which is always a good sign. I can't speak for application, but my sister couldn't stop RAVING about it! Here's EXACTLY what she had to say: It's amazing! It is so soft on my skin it feels like I'm applying my makeup with silk! It makes my makeup look more even and does a great job blending....It's like I finally know what a good brush is supposed to be like! And trust me when I say this is NOT a girl to sugar-coat things. In short, brushes can make all the difference in the world when it comes to the appearance of makeup (and that's to say nothing about the ease of application--a good brush will always make your job easier); this one looks like a GREAT brush. Brushes can be very expensive (expect to pay $50 or more at M.A.C. for a brush like this), and for the price I'm not sure you can beat this deal! Go for it, ladies...you'll be glad you did! Plus, they have a great 30-day return policy if you DON'T love the brush-- you can't lose!
