Grass Lawn Seed, Ultra Patch 1kg Hard Wearing, Fast Growing, Pet Urine Neutraliser, Defra Approved, Grass Seed Patch Repair

I bought this after reading the reviews, I have to say I was a little sceptical as the patches of grass I had to cover were in bad condition. It took around 5 weeks, sown late in the year now I have lush green grass hich is still growing. So don't hesitate with this, I also have a cat who quite happily used to Pee on it too but still the grass grew. Excellent product, I will definitely purchase again.

Took a while for the grass to come back and was a little patchy in places. A little more expensive then some other grass seeds. Really quick delivery.

This stuff is amazing. The patches I’ve used it on, the grass is so much greener than the rest of the garden. It’s also been great for pet toileting. Next doors cat no longer uses my garden as a toilet - is have used it just for this if I’d have known.

The seed worked in about 60% of the area where I planted it, some areas really good, some areas absolutely nothing. Good conditions for it to grow, water sunshine. Seems to me with grass seed nothing is guaranteed.

It looks like a good product and has plenty of great reviews. My issue is the price. In my local Range store they sell smaller 650gram boxes for £2.99 so for just over £6 You can get the equivalent coverage as this 1.4kg box. In hindsight I didn't realise this and would of bought the same product at an almost 50% discount.

Sewed the seeds at the beginning of Lockdown and now have a very luscious grassed area, despite the hot weather, it has grown thick and the grass is quite thick bladed which means it has covered well. Very pleased. We were going to get turf but it was unavailable in April so we reluctantly went for seed. Glad we did Good product

I put grass seed into the search engine and this product was well-rated......but ALL I wanted was grass seed. What I got was possibly 10 to 15% SEED and the rest of the weight was made up of some sort of "fertiliser" additive plus some sort of tiny yellow pellets which was presumably the "anti-pet-urine" facet of the batch. When all you want is seed for patching-in on a lawn, then this is not for you.....! The three small boxes which added up to the required weight barely had enough seed content to enable me to patch-in just a few small areas of an already small front-garden. A waste of money. How do I get a refund ? Hoover-up all the seed and return it ? No sign of any new grass as yet after 9 days of sun rain and watering. V. sad !

It works! You have to be meticulous and scrape away the dead grass, and cover the seeds with some compost. 10 days I could see first growth, 3 weeks later thick new grass
