INSIZE 1108-150 Digital Caliper, 0-150 mm/0-6"

I've used one of these at work in the past and always found it to be pretty accurate when compared to gauges in a machine shop. More recently, for my own use I'd considered just buying into the dependability of Mititoyo but didn't really want to spend the extra money given that it wouldn't be exposed to stuff like coolant at home. Checking this newer example against gauges, it seems to be pretty good along it's range, but is sometimes off by a thou in places.. overall I'd say it works well within the accuracy machinists would expect from a caliper, but that it's not as accurate as a decent micrometer.. it's good enough for me.

Vaig rebre el peu de rei i estaba usat i amb la tapa de la bateria trencada. El vaig tornar i Amazon, com sempre, espectacular. Això si, com el venedor és estranger ha trigat la vida a arribar, però ja en tinc un altre de nou que funciona perfectament i a un preu imbatible! Recibí el pie de rey usado y con la tapa de la bateria rota. Lo devolví y, como siempre, Amazon espectacular. Eso si, como el vendedor es estrangero, ha tardado la vida en llegar. Pero ya tengo uno nuevo que funciona perfectamente y a un precio imbatible!

Pretty accurate readings, adequate sensitivity for me. Considering it is sold as a tool for professionals, as an alternative to some expensive brands, perfect value-price ratio. Well, my wife had been a bit angry with me when i bought this, saying i wascollecting all useless gadgets till she started using it for her hobbies :)
