I have bought two of these to protect the stereo in or 78 cj5 Jeep. The first one broke when we rolled the jeep down into a ravine and it landed on a stump. Cracked the front of the housing, but the stereo was fine. The old jeep does not have a top anymore and we do a lot of offroading in heavy dust and mud. It has worked well to protect the stereo. I even use a garden hose on it when washing out the inside if the Jeep. Verry happy with it.

This is exactly what I needed to mount my new stereo in my older Jeep, didn't want to cut up my dash to make the stereo fit and this solves that problem. I was really impressed with the quality not made cheep at all, and as far as water proof just about nothing out there is completely water proof. This will keep the dirt and moisture out for sure. I'm a happy camper

Great product, keeps dust and water from stereo.

Stereo Box was a great fit for my golf cart. The plastic strap bracket broke while trailering my cart to location. Luckily the wires prevented it from flying into the windshield of the vehicle behind me. And second face cover brakes off under high wind conditions.

PLMRCB3 is a poorly made pc of trash. Lid gasket barely stays in place. Front plate gasket is extremely difficult to set with radio in. Had to cut front plate to fit a standard Pyle marine radio. Wiring does not have additional positive wire for memory (Once you power off you loose all your settings) You would think a company that sells stereos wouldn't overlook such a major detail. Wire color coding is just stupid, doesn't even match their own radio wiring colors. Would never recommend product to anyone. Only gave it one star because more than zero was required

Got it and the face cover was broken.. But they are sending me a new flip door for it and I’m very thankful they are so.. but it is very well made and looks really good mounted up..

My husband actually uses the Housing to mount a radio/cd player on his motorcycle. The mounting bracket had broken on the previous one he had, but it had been used since 2002 on two different motorcycles. Now with the new one in place, the cd's don't skip if the road is a little rough!!

Se ve bien pero la base el arco que sujeta la caja venia rotó!!! La verdad se siente muy endeble , yo voy a tener que mandar a hacer uno de metal

installer un auto radio sur mon voilier....

j'ai mis 3 etoile car beau boitier cependant a force d'ouvrir fermer la porte la charniere sa a cassé des deux côté et sa 5 minute aprés avoir reçu donc un peu dessus je tente la super glu 3
