Air King AK110PN Energy Star Quiet Series Bath Fan, 100-CFM,Red

I bought this to replace an identical model number fan in my laundry room. The original fan was 18 years old and had failed after heavy use during all of those 18 years. I think this fan is quieter than the older AK90 so I'm really pleased, I can barely hear it running.One comment on the model numbers though. I thought this AK90 would be identical in all major ways to the previous AK90, or I would've expected the model number to change. Not true, the dimensions are the same but the wiring changed substantially, so the install required more effort than I had been anticipating. But, what home project ever goes as easy as you'd anticipated, right?

I've bought and installed two of these thus far. They work great.

Had to purchase a replacement exhaust fan for my upstairs bathroom. Did a little damage to the exhaust fan blades. Thought I was going to get by but the fan was completely out of whack. So I purchased this new fan and it came with everything which was a bit of a surprise but I'm happy nonetheless. Package actually arrived a day early and thankfully there was no damage to the box or the material inside. After a quick and safe install all the exhaust fans in my house work once again.

Mine arrived fine, installed easy, and works great. The noise level is perfect, but my only complaint is that the plastic damper which is suppose to prevent back drafts makes noise when it is windy. It's quite annoying, and I would not buy this model again due to this problem.

The new fan works great. The only problem we had was that the old Air King fan (which came with our house) had a different plug end than the new fan did. After replacing the plug end, the fan worked fine. It was easy enough for us to do the work ourselves.

Bought this as a replacement for the same model installed during construction ~15 years ago. I noticed a few changes between the original and this one even though the model number was the same, but the new fan fit just fine inside the old housing and the power plug was compatible, so it was a fairly easy replacement.. The new fan's been up for a month and it works great.

We had this installed in the hot tub room (indoors) and it handles the humidity nicely. Putting it on a timer makes it easy for us to run it for 20 minutes even if we're not staying downstairs. It's pretty quiet and has a clean look - about as attractive as an exhaust fan can be.

Best price, QUIET bath vent. I use it in rental properties. No problems. Suggest use it with Woods 59007 Decora Style 30-15-10-5 Minute Preset Wall Switch Timer. Tenant more likely to use vent to remove moisture from bath and avoid moldy conditions if fan turns off by itself after a period of time.

Nice and quiet. Installed easily pretty silent.

This unit fit into my 15 year old existing bathroom exhaust fan housing perfectly.
