If it says moleskin it is the stuff that really protects. **Q: How thick is this? 1/8?, 1/4?, ?** A: The thickness is closer to 1/8". There is usually enough room in the shoe. **Q: is this product a 1/4 inch thick** A: I'd estimate that it's significantly thinner than that. It definitely did the trick, regardless what thickness it was! If you're addressing the general size of the moleskin pieces, they were much more than that, probably 1-2" in girth, but it was nothing that a pair of scissors wasn't able to take care of.
