i bought two of these subs used hoping that there was some attempt at quality control. i feel utterly betrayed by amazon. the first used model was broken. first strike- burnt out coils from the previous customer and easily detected with my multimeter in seconds. second strike- the next subwoofer works but was a dated model, switched out by the previous customer as blatant fraud. they carefully packaged the switched out model to avoid detection. unbelievable that this got by returns. broken model on the right. switched model on the left. never again. i bought two new and hopefully i will write a positive review for an otherwise good product. got brand new ones. the thump is clean and mighty. unbeatable for price. using a small enclosed box, pushing the amp a bit with 2ohm wiring scheme. 5 star product all the way. just don’t buy used.

It didnt sound good at all and one of the voice coil wires broke after the second use. It didnt melt, it broke . I know how to break in speakers and didnt have too much power going to it. I have already discarded it and wont be purchasing lanzar anymore . Sorry for complaining but I was waiting impatiently for over a week for it to get here and was disappointed. Its only my opinion and I haven't been badmouthing your company or anything. But like I said, wont be buying lanzar again

I've had this sub-woofer for about 1 1/2 years in a custom enclosure I made for it about 6 months ago. The 10 inch version is perfect for my Jeep Wrangler, and would work just as good in a car or sedan. The quality is great. People say not to go cheap on your sound system, but think otherwise. These subs will hit just as hard as any other. My whole system is Lanzar and I am not at all regretful. If your having issues with budgeting Lanzar sub-woofers are your answer.

if your looking for a sub that pounds this defiantly is not the sub you want they dont pound very hard at all but if your not looking to pound and to just listen to some nice clear sounding music then these are the subs for you they are pretty cheep and they sound clear just not very good at bumping

great budget sub. bought two of them and put them in a ported box with 1 ft per sub tuned to 37 hertz. these slam hard. givin them each 300 watts at 2 ohms from a soundstream 600 watt 2 channel rubicon amp on a jvc headunit and these things shake my blazer pretty hard. i got 122.4 decibels peak at the dash. great buy. just dont overpower and make sure to check the dustcap. i had the 15 inch version of these before and the dustcap tends to come loose and rattle. i just put some super glue on mine and sealed it back down. no big deal. very satisfied.

ok first off amazon.com never seizes to amaze me with their shipping ,fast and i have yet to receive anything damaged!... ok i own a garage were we also do stereo installs from mild to wild as it has always been a passion of mine . this subwoofer was bought solely for a piece of test equip , mainly enclosures. i just hooked it up to my concept cca-d 1200.1 at 4 ohms on my bench free air ... i expected alot of popping and honestly the thing to go up in smoke, when i first received it i pulled it out of the carton and was not impressed very chinsy looking from the foam surround to cheap plastic terminals and mostly the rubber magnet boot wich serves no purpose and looks terrible( i removed it). but as i listened to it i realized it wasnt half bad and would serve its purpose very well and 28$ come on! . it had decent xmax, vc looked alright and after feeding it some clean power for a bit it wasnt warm nor did it smell at all . i certainly would not recomend feeding this little guy 1200 watts as i beleive it would blow the cone and surround to kingdom come. but as i said for 28 dollars it makes an excellent beginners sub or even somone who has a super tight budget. give the little fella maybe 400 clean watts give or take and i think you will be happy ,if you do not have rediculous expectations.its no fi btl or re but you would have to be insane to compair apples to oronges

What can I say, these slam hard! Make sure that you have the proper enclosure - air space is the key. Wrong air space = crappy sound = eventual death and destruction for your subs. 99% of people who blow these subs have them in the wrong enclosures. Just because it fits doesn't mean it will sound good or last a long time, even if you only have it on a 300watt amp. Hope this is helpful! Laterz!!!

Order came quickly service was good. I had 2 of them hooked up 2 a four channel 400watt Fosgate amp not much power for what these were rated to handle. I got 2 1/2 weeks of good sounding bass then both speakers went out. Would not recommend them or buy any lanzar product again

Used only a week sounded good till it blew

Was really careful with sub, run it in low power to start, gradually building up power, had a really good punchy bass, now dead after 5 months !

Assistenza pessima, ho ricevuto un prodotto difettoso la prima volta che ha mandato in corto i cavi che vanno all'autoradio perchè sono cascate le plastiche con l'attacco dell'alimentazione invalidandomi cosí il sottochiave delle casse che era collegato anche all'autoradio rischiando cosí di bruciarmi i collegamenti! La seconda volta mi hanno rifilato un subwoofer che fa il rumore di una persona che calpesta una pozzanghera e che era stato rigenerato (di conseguenza non piú nuovo, e si sa, che un subwoofer rigenerato, suona malissimo) [email protected]
