Jane 18oz Ceramic Travel Mug with Handle, Splash-Resistant Slider Lid and Built-in Coaster, Perfect for Coffee and Tea, BPA Free, Dishwasher Safe

I am 85 years old with severe balance problems and have to use an upright walking frame and can't carry a cup so I bought an adjustable cup holder which clamps on to my frame then needed a decent size CHINA mug that is splash proof I found this one on Amazon and it fits my needs exactly, I can now get myself a cup of tea Independently. This mug is not really a "travel mug" it's too heavy, not really totally sealed, not double insulated but it hasn't got that usual horrible plastic/metallic taste that spoils your beverages. This is a really nice piece of china and well designed, I love it.

Bought for my morning coffee to which it adds the pleasure of a mug with a quality luxury feel and appearance together with a higher than most capacity. No it's not thermal, but the slide close lid helps keep contents hot enough for leisurely drinking. After trawling through dozens of mugs for one which would keep hot and could be microwaved, I'm satisfied I made the right choice.

I think I'm starting a travel mug collection! I want one that's more like a mug than travel mug, if that makes sense.... this one is quite nice. It's light to hold and nice to drink from, even with the lid on. It's an unusual design which I like. It keeps hot drinks hot for maybe slightly less time than my other mug but I think I do prefer this one overall. It's not a travel mug that you would carry about. It's more for leaving on a desk or table and returning to after a short time. I'd recommend.

A very nice mug. A bit bigger and heavier than expected, so I don’t really use it as a travel mug. It has, however, become my favourite mug to use at home and works well for my matcha lattes! Nice to use snd hold and drink from.

Lovely cup, can hold lots of tea, which is great for a new mum like me...... but it isn’t spill proof.... and therefore not really a travel mug either. Useless and not fit for purpose as described.

Not sure how you can describe it as a travel mug when the lid is not secure on any way, shape or form. Mug is a good size, though.

Excellent quality mug. Durable and leak proof. Everything I need in a mug. Ergonomic, easy to open and close, the color is good too. My wife loves this mug. You can just throw it in the dishwasher and it’s clean. Easy to keep clean and no mold is going to grow because there’s no nooks and crannies to worry about. Yes I would recommend this mug to you. Hermoso vaso grande lindo

I grew tired of my thermal mug with the twisting top that I have to take-a-part to clean the air hole. Seeing all the gunky stuff that ended up in between the lid and the air-hole twisty thingy was depressing in the morning. Feature, Flaw, or Annoying Ceramic = Feature, my old thermal mug was top heavy and tippy if I bumped it. This mug sits on my desk like a GOOD MUG with its slimmer profile. Gets Hot = Its a Feature more then Annoying for a few minutes, more so with tea than coffee. Maybe it's because I add powdered creamer that takes enough heat away, but I like holding a warm mug when it reaches the right temp. Once it reaches the right temp both coffee and tea won't last for very long. Lid = More Feature then Annoying. If you overfill the mug past the ceramic lip liquid will squirt out when you put on the lid. I learned that in order to save every drop of coffee so I don't have to lick it off the table, to follow these steps. 1) Place the lid opening down on the inner lip of the mug 2) Slowly press the lid on back to put it in place 3) Slide it close for carrying and licking off the drops of coffee that ended up on top. Coffee Won't Come Out if Overfilled = Annoying but manageable. I lift the back of the lid slightly to break the suckage so that I can drink the coffee. After a couple of sips, I press it back into place. For this review, I filled my old mug with water and poured it into my new Ello Jane 18oz Ceramic Travel Mug with Silicone Boot and discovered that it holds the exact same amount of coffee. I hadn't given up drop and my new mug makes me happy in the morning.
