Replacement Security Screws for Ring Doorbell (2 Pack)

I moved from one location to another, and my new home is almost 100 years old. Thus, it does not have the conventional doorbell. Omg! I didn't realize how much I missed the security of having my Ring doorbell! I suppose during the packing, I missed placed the original screws. Thankfully, ordering another set, was easy and was delivered quickly. This ensured that the correct screws were used for the installation. The screws are tiny!!! So, keep them in the plastic bag, while installing your Ring camera! LOL. In less than 10 minutes, my ring camara was up and running!

These screws are NOT for ring video doorbell. The “top” of the screw is far smaller so the blue screw driver doesn’t fit. Now I have a 45 minute drive to return these. Absolute garbage. Might as well throw them…

I just had the ring doorbell switched to my name and I had to uninstall and reset the unit. Noticed a screw was missing so I placed an order for these. They fit just right. I wish it had came with a screwdriver for these hex key screws since they were pretty small. Other than that the screws were an exact fit for my ring.

I gave this a 4. When the skrews arrived they fit perfectly however the drive of the screw is a much smaller size than the original screw driver that came with my camera kit. Luckily I had a micro tool set for electronics and the T6H Bit fits perfect.

Our original screws rusted in place and with the latest update, we had to unmount the da**ed thing and jump through hoops to make it work again. The old screws had rusted in place, and were destroyed removing them. These screwed in very easily. Go to any place where you can buy a kit with a cheapo screwdriver and a lot of different small security bits, you'll find one that works. If you are having trouble getting it to work after the update, this is what worked for me. Take down the doorbell. Uninstall the app from the main phone. Press the orange button on the back of the doorbell for 20 seconds. Press the top four pin row of metal contacts in for 20 seconds (ring customer service told me that one), reinstall the app and go through the 'add a device' setup. Now it works. But the zone mapping isn't as good as it used to be, so you'll have to tweak it.

Not an exact replacement beware.

Did the job but I now find I can buy a complete Ring kit with screws, screwdriver, wire connector etc for AU $5 inc delivery from Ring Australia .
