Grave Before Shave Fisticuffs Mustache Wax (Bay Rum Scent)

Smells great! The missus LOVES to smell my freshly-waxed Fisticuffs-groomed cookie duster. Very easy to apply. Just a quick scrape with the back of your thumb nail, rub between fingers and massage into your mo'. Medium-hold so it keep my hairy lip in good order. Probably not strong enough for a super-duper curl on the ends but that's not what I'm going for. The tin is a perfect size and the sliding lid makes it easy to quickly open, scrape and pop back into the pocket - even with one hand. A tin seems to last forever too and keeping it in a pocket is the perfect temperature for application. Love.this.stuff. Ordered their other products in Bay Rum Scent because, well, happy wife is a happy life!

I don't typically write reviews, but this warrants one. I live in South Florida (typically mid 70s in January, with at least 95 percent humidity)so it's hot. Today I waxed my mustache into a great handlebar, and rocked it all damn day! Took a hot shower, and it STILL held up even under the hot water(104 degrees). Amazing hold, the smell is not overbearing, and the sliding top of the tin makes for easy access. Stellar product.

I'm not sure what all you can say about a mustache wax. I have a larger tin from a different brand that I use at home but I wanted a smaller tin for on the go and I got this. The scent is fine, but very strong. People will know that you're coming if they're downwind and maybe even upwind. I'm not one to announce my presence with an odor so I'd prefer it to be a little more mild in that regard. Why does a mustache wax need to be scented anyways? It is a little stiffer than my normal brand also but that's not a big deal. When this tin runs out I'll probably try something else.

Not a true handlebar but a sweep to the sides. It keeps its shape, has a faint, pleasant smell, and is easy to apply.

Great hold for a moustache curl. Sturdy tin you can keep in your pocket if you want. I like the smell and will buy again. Take everyones opinion on scents for products with a grain of salt. What one person thinks smells good, might stink to another. You'll jist have to roll the dice on that. Rember.....some people think patchouli smells good.

Smells fantastic, but doesn't hold very well. For a larger mustache, I need to have something that will hold the ends away from my mouth or I'll end up eating the damned thing all day and filtering my coffee. The first thing you'll notice with this wax is how easily it comes out of the tin, which seems like a good thing, but it emulsifies almost immediately on the fingertips and gives you a very loose hold. Something like CanYouHandlebar, especially the Secondary, works a lot better for me. Can't recommend this product, sadly. The bay rum scented balm and oils though are right on the money and well worth!

Thecsent is strong, but I like it and it holds very well. Exactly what I needed! Very strong stickiness and hold hairs in place that naturally grow a totally different direction.

I grew my moustache out for a costume, and used this wax daily to keep it out of my mouth. It's a nice scent, and a good texture, so much better than Clubman. "Grave Before Shave" is a medium hold, so I needed a thumbnail's worth on each side - about twice the amount recommended on the can. I applied additional wax to the tips to get a good curl, and even with all this wax the texture was never too stiff. Great for daily use!
