Spelt husk is lighter, softer and more breathable that the more commonly used buckwheat filling and gives you a higher level of sleeping comfort. It does not collapse like foam. Because of its therapeutic qualities, spelt has been used for bedding for centuries in Europe. Spelt contains natural silicic acid, which has proven stress relieving and calming effect. It is effective against aches and pains and is often used to improve circulation. The pillow has a crescent shape, with one wide and one narrow end. You can use the pillow in a variety of different ways, such as placing one end under your belly and the other between your knees to enhance alignment of your back, legs and hips. Spelt is extremely breathable and is an excellent moisture regulator. Air circulates easily through the hulls, keeping your body temperature comfortable. Spelt is very adaptable.
