I bought this for my husband's new phone because 1) we ALWAYS use a phone case and 2) we wanted something both rugged and with a good grip to it. This case fits both criteria perfectly. The tire-tread texture instantly appealed to him, and it also offers that much more padding if/when he drops the device. Because face it - stuff happens.The case slips on easily to protect the back and sides of the case, but leaves the screen unobscured. I've seen other heavy-duty cases where they encroach on the front screen, which becomes annoying after a little while. This one's got a great balance.

The basic fitment for a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown(2018 Trracfone) was great. The phone snapped right into the case , cutouts line up perfect. The start button is a little stiff but works good .It has a nice raised edge so you can put the phone face down on a flat surface and the screen won't touch.It's a great deal for the price. Case is plastic but not a slippery hard plastic feel, kind of in between a soft case and hard.I have big hands with dry skin and I needed a better grip on the phone. When you hold the phone in your hand when it's in this case you really feel you've got a hold of it..Took one star off because the kick stand on the back won't let the case lay flat on a table or desk without it being wobbly. Seems weird it would be designed that way as it makes it hard to use the keyboard if it's laying on a flat surface,because it will rock back and forth. The maker could just raise the back edges of the corners and that would fix it but whatever.Good case for the price on Amazon and I couldn't find anything locally in that range that I liked.

This was purchased for my Luddite husband's phone. The sturdiness has been great. However, the additional thickness does cause a few problems for him. This case covers the on/off button so one has to give a determined push to activate it. Also, the extra thickness adds a bit of a challenge to getting the charging cord installed just right. A few times the cord has seemed to be fully inserted when it wasn't. The hints of color make the black phone much easier to find in my DH's gym bag, so that's a plus. Overall, it's doing the job I bought it for.

Worked GREAT. Fits on my new Galaxy J7 2018 like a glove, no difference whatsoever in quality from what they were trying to sell me at the service store for $40, and I actually like this one better. Barely comes around the front, so it keeps the phone in securely without lifting the glass shield.

When buying this, bear this in mind. It's 8 bucks American. If you keep it in your pocket, and have a physical job like I do, it'll last up to a year, before chunks of it break off, like a melting iceberg. Also, it gets dirty fast. I couldn't get the screen protectors to stay on with this case, but those screen films to keep your screen clean stay on fine with the case. If anything, the case just keeps the body of your phone from getting scratched up. That's it.The black part of the case, is hard plastic, and doesn't take much punishment before cracking. Even from your lap to a hardwood or concrete floor.My advice, use it for phones worth 50 bucks or less. Do not buy this for a 1000 or more Smartphone or iPhone.

It fits perfectly. All buttons and ports are accessible. It greatly improves my grip on the phone. My only concern is that it is a little hard. I expected it to be a bit softer like the case for my earlier LG. I won't know if this is a problem until I drop the phone, which I intend to never do.

Excellent fit for a Galaxy J7 Star. I bought 2 of these as I have 2 J7 Star Phones in the family. No complaints thus far. I am not going to write a final review for durability at this stage as I received the cases just this week. However, I must say that it is well made, looks durable for its purpose. I am leaning to think that if you take care of it, it should last the lifetime of the phone. I would like the manufacturer to package a scratch protector though for the front bezel instead of me looking for a different manufacturer as well... even if sold at a slightly higher cost. Not a must though. That being said, I highly recommend the product.

My husband is a contractor and as many of you know phones seem to drop from roofs ladders and 3ft from the ground sometimes and now we need a new phone that costs 100’s of dollars none of us can afford right now! This case has got to be the best thing I have gotten in a long time I swear before it was a new phone every few months! Not anymore! I am so great full for this case and I would recommend it to anyone that is hard on phones!!! So durable hubby has actually admitted to dropping his phone multiple times and not even a crack!! (knock on wood) great gift.great money saver excellent price!! I waited to write this unlike when your asked to after a couple of days just to be able to give a real review!! Hope this helps!!
