Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Laptop Support Stand for Laptops up to 13", Black

Purchased for a 13" macbook to travel with, nice sturdy tray, and when not travelling it supports the mac daily on my desk.

I was hoping this stand could be a simple solution to raise a 12 inch wide plastic synthesizer. Not only is it a great solution, but it also easily fits with the synth into it's packing carton. The stand has a nice matte black finish and the build quality is robust. I highly recommend this stand for use.

Good product and for the most part, does what it is designed to do. The stiffness of the swinging/folding hinge could be stronger because unless you get it tilted exactly at the right angle, it tends to fold up/down all by itself.

So small in stature but so useful all around. Definitely buying more for my IT clients, they keep trying to steal mine or offer to buy it off me. Works great on both 13" & 15" laptops both Apple and PC-based. Very easy to use & compact when you don't need it. Doesn't take up any space in my small compact Ralph Lauren leather computer shoulder bag. I wish it was available in more colors especially brighter (neon yellow or neon green, or even a glow in the dark one) for easy finding in dark locales and in dark bags. Also, adding some small indented grooves on the back stand for cable management. I'm hoping it will work fine on the new 16" MacBook Pro that I just ordered.

I was looking for something to prop my laptop up while I recorded videos for my students during this time of e-learning/distance learning. It was much sturdier than I thought it would be! Easy to set up and put away, and the perfect height for recording my videos. It is nice to use so I am not hunched over the screen the entire time. It works well with my MacBook Air and stays in place well! Don't go buying the $40-$50 ones, this one does the job!

My mouse pointer was getting lost when crossing from my monitor to the laptop’s screen because the laptop’s screen was lower than the monitor. It made me crazy! My coworkers just stacked books or had a plastic stand that they said they got on Amazon. I couldn’t find the mysterious stand on Amazon, so I decided to set about trying different stands until I found one tha worked out for me. This one, luckily, was my first try and it turned out to be just right! (Rarely happens to me!) It’s lightweight, easy to setup and takedown, doesn’t mar my desk, fits flat in my laptop bag, and is just the right height! Plus I was thinking if I ever found a stand that solved my lost pointer problem, I’d have to buy another to use at home. But this one is so easy to include when I pack up my laptop, I’m good with just the one!

I have a 15" monitor on my laptop. This little stand just isn't big enough. Because my laptop has a rounded edge at the front, it also slips over the low profile ledge designed to hold it in place. I love that it folds flat and weighs next to nothing. It's easy to shove in my bag and have ready wherever I need to work. The angle is nice, it does lift the monitor up just enough. Really, the only two problems I have are the size and the ledge. Honestly, if the ledge was a bit higher, it might fix the stability/size issue.

Simple, strong metallic stand that was and exact match for my needs. Rubber-feet grip the macbook metallic shell very strongly. Happy I got this one over the other choices!
