Great Camping Table
This little guy is the more versatile, more portable cousin of the folding table. It's really two different tables. They are fine setup on their own (two tables), side to side (square), or end to end (long). They can also be set to different heights, which makes for a nice display. It's also nice and portable. The table legs fold up underneath like a standard folding table, but since it's two different tops, they nest together to make it a nice size to fit in the back of your car, truck, or camper. The down side is while a folding table may take literally take only 10 seconds to setup, these need a few minutes for setup / take down. It's not complicated, but each of the legs has to be screwed together and then into the table top. I highly recommend buying this product if you need a portable table for just about any reason. Setup / tear down isn't so bad that it would be too much trouble on a picnic, and it's sturdy enough to leave outside for a few days while camping. The fact that it can be setup at a single table with two different heights, a single long table, or as two separate tables makes it nice for a portable display table if you sell stuff a fairs and markets. That said, too many compromises were made keeping it light and portable to make it a good choice for home or seasonal use. If you want something for around your house, I would suggest a basic folding table unless you're really tight on space. It sets up faster and cost less. If you want something to be outside all summer, you'll probably want something that can hold up to the elements better. Coleman probably could have made a table that would work for everybody, but that would cost a lot more money.

Sturdy, practical, versatile, portable
This is a must have item for camping. Many reviews have mentioned that the tables aren't very stable when at their tallest position and this is mostly true but as long as you are realistic about where (not on rocks or a slope) you put the table and what you are going to use it for (not a really heavy item), then you will be happy. If you want them at their highest and to be very sturdy, make sure to put them together and you will be happy. This is a simple scientific concept and one can't expect a portable camping table to defy the laws of physics. That said, in all other positions, the tables ares VERY sturdy, practical, versatile, and portable. I always use them separately. I like to use the shortest setting on one table as a place to sit on when putting on shoes etc... inside the tent. It can also be used this way to of course put things on like a tent heater so it's not on the floor but not too high or close to the tent walls. You can also use one when at the lowest setting to put your snacks, drink, and smores on next to your chair when enjoying your camp fire. Our camp chairs are low to the ground making this an ideal match of table and chair. And yes, I said I sit on them when in their lowest position. They are that sturdy and strong. I could of course go on about all the ways we use these tables in the various heights while camping (food prep, eating, sitting on, keeping things off the ground etc...) but we also use them around the house for projects. Plus, because they pack flat and small, and weigh practically nothing, they are easy to store anywhere until needed again. Keep them in your closet or your garage. A wonderful item if you keep your expectations realistic, not low. In fact, they exceeded my expectations considering how little they weigh.

Good camping gear
This is a versatile and practical table for camping, or pretty much anywhere for that matter if you're looking for an inexpensive fold-up table. In my experience, I bought this item and used it the entire 2013 summer for camping. It served as a "kitchen" table, dishwashing table, computer desk, nightstand, food prep, and even bread dough kneading surface. As in the description, it can be configured several ways to suite your needs. The legs are collapsible and are easily stored under each table section. And, each leg is adjustable to help level out on uneven ground/surface. I'm restating this part of the description because this the key selling point in my opinion. Because of the different variations I've used in my experience with this table makes it a must-have item for long term camping. The table is light weight enough, but not something for backpacking to be sure. It's not going to take the place of an oak dining room table either, so don't expect that kind of stability, or load bearing. And, speaking of that, keep in mind that putting a heavy object on top of the table, such as a full dish basin, will make the table top heavy when used with the full length of the leg sections. The legs will have a "wobble" under a load, but I stabilized the legs with paracord. This is simply done by taking lengths of paracord and securing each leg to one another at the middle screw-in attachment on 3 sides of the table, leaving the 4th open for storage access under the table. A simple loop in the cord and a GENTLE tension is all that is needed. The cord also made it easy for hanging a dish cloth, or any other small wet item. Doing this did not harm my table in any way, but use common sense as with anything. This is not a heavy duty item and the lightweight metal and plastic hardware is not meant for such. Also, don't set hot, off the stove pans on the table surface. Again, common sense. The table is not a cooling rack. Nor is the table a cutting board. I used lightweight, semi rigid plastic mats found here on Amazon, but also used simple folded parchment paper for my cutting needs and food prep. This is a Coleman product - a household name in outdoor gear. I don't like everything Coleman makes, but the majority of their products I find to be good as a low cost alternative, and in many instances, better performing items than much more expensive brands. This table served me all summer long at a base camp. It will for you too.

Versatile
I scoured the web for similar tables, and could find nothing. While these tables are not perfect, they fit a need that no other table does. If you have a recliner or low chair, then using the table at its lowest setting is perfect. You can basically sit on it at this level as well, as it's rock solid. The medium level is a perfect height if you're sitting in an average chair. Great level for eating dinner for example. It's a little bit wobbly at this height, but I don't think you could knock it over easily, although I could see it possible to spill a drink if you accidentally kicked one of the legs. At its tallest setting, I think it's about 32 inches so not a bad height for standing, but a few inches shy of an average counter height. The table is pretty wobbly at this height. I put my largest Coleman stove on it, and it seemed to hold it fine. I don't think it would be easy to knock over, but something that was unstable to begin with, could pretty easily be toppled. A large container of ketchup, or 16 ounce of soda, etc. The leveling feet screw into the small extensions, and while they can be used at any height, they need to be unscrewed from one extension and screwed into another--this gets old fast. The legs themselves screw in pretty quickly, and I find by using the flat of my palms with the leg pole in between, you can screw them in in short order. The little clips that hold the two tables together take a bit of force to snap into place. I could see some people having trouble with this. I'm getting over a case of tendinitis and found it a little awkward. The tables are useful for up to two people, even though the table size could accommodate four. It would not be impossible to put some people on the ends, but their legs would have to straddle the table legs. I can also say that the lower cross brace is no longer used. Perhaps they removed this so two other people could slide into the table? I think it does make the overall table less rigid however. I had no trouble getting the two table halves apart. In fact, when I turned the little locking slide, they seem to almost come apart by themselves. A tiny push, and they were easy to separate. Perhaps they have fixed this from previous models. I don't know, but it's no problem now. Each leg snaps into place independent of the others. I think this may be a little faster for setup and take down, although less rigid as the legs do not get any support from adjacent legs. Again, they removed the cross brace you see in the picture. Overall, these are really versatile tables, and a nice size. The surfaces are just vinyl covered cardboard, so not something you would want to leave out in the rain, but hey for about $40 I guess they were not intending for them to last forever. A small tablecloth could go a long ways to protect them. I am generally under an awning, so this is not a big concern to me. I also use cutting boards when prepping food. I would say once the vinyl is torn, then the top would start to degrade. Not sure if something like contact paper would stick to it. It's too bad Coleman didn't go the extra mile and make these with an aluminum top or perhaps a piece of acrylic. So, in the end I am happy with them, and they suit a specific need that no other table does. Update: One of the pop rivets fell out of the table after two uses. Uh oh!

Surprising little tables, and super light.
Yes they seem rickety and yes they look cheaply made, but I'm not freaking out, but rather ordering another one (2) so I can have 4 little tables around my camp instead of 2. All I did for mine was just shifted them around a bit to get them on relatively even ground until it seemed level and used mine for an entire weekend with no issues. Cooked on it. Put heavy stuff on it 20-30 lbs of stuff. Shifted stuff around on it. No issues. *shrug* I'm wondering though if I combine 2 together if it makes it more sturdy, but it doesn't matter. Had some pretty strong wind and they never went down, had heavy stuff on them. They're light as a feather. Don't know what the issue is...? Oh well. When I go out again I'll play around with combining some of them. The ricketyness once you set it on even ground seems to be because it has some "give" and will take it's legs and sort of plant them at the angles that it wants to. It's hard to explain, and weird, but it works. Also they're light. If you ever had to carry around one of those 45lb heavy plastic tables that just sag and melt and burn and stuff you'll know what I'm talking about. These are super super light. They also fit together and everything snaps in and they snap to each other and everything twists together and they seem very durable. Also unlike those plastic tables, things won't just skid off of this thing whenever they feel like it. These things like to stay level all by themselves and have enough tact where your camping stuff grips them. If I have anything break on them I'll come update this but as of now I'm very satisfied with these things. Never drag a 45lb huge obnoxious plastic table to your camp site again. Stop setting everything on stumps. Just get a few of these. Take care, happy camping, stay safe, be aware!

Probably the most useful table I ever bought
We have used this table in the kitchen, for craft fairs, as temporary computer desk and in the backyard when having BBQ parties. It is very versatile and for the price, very durable as well. I have seen a lot of camping tables, some way more expensive/stylish. Some are lighter, some are smaller but I can't think of any other camp table that is this versatile, this sturdy and this cheap. This table offers an excellent balance between durability, available work surface, adjustability and price. You can use one or both sides at the same time. You can use it as a coffee table hight or at desk hight or at work surface hight. You can connect them in series or parallel. It is just so useful. The first one we bought we used the heck out of it for around 6-7 years and it is still working but a little wobbly in the legs so we just bought another one and we are using both now.

Portable but not long lasting
Bought this table a year ago and havent used it much. It was mostly for any picnics or outdoor events that we would go on. Used about 3 times over the last year. For appx $50 I would have expected this table to last a lot longer but it fell apart after getting wet once in a sudden rain and wiping it dry didn't keep it from getting moldy. There are pros and cons to the table as I will list below: Pros: size is convenient for small activities and gives you the little extra surface space to store things as needed and easy to store away. It comes packed with a handle that makes it very portable and is light to carry around. The height is adjustable to 4 different heights based on the legs that you use. Cons: It is very frustrating and difficult to put together to pack up. You have to play around with the legs and move things around to make it all fit together so that the tables can align and "lock". It literally takes about 20 minutes each time we have to wrap up. The table got moldy underneath after getting wet once and the lining dissolved after we used a cleaning spray to wipe it down.

Versatile camp surface
This table has filled a variety of our camping needs. In the square configuration, it serves well as our kitchen supporting the weight of our stove leaving plenty of prep space and later in the night provides a great card table. Though stoves are not recommended, our Coleman Classic propane stove does not get hot on the bottom works great on this table. So far the only use we have had for the long configuration is beer pong. The legs fold into and the extensions/clamps attach nicely on the bottom side of the table tops which assemble into a suitcase with a convenient carrying handle. The leg extensions thread together and we were recently delighted to find we could fine adjust the height of each leg using the foot piece to level the table on the uneven surface of our camp site at a music festival. I would recommend putting the foot on the longer leg extender as we saw little need for using the short extender alone and makes it easier to switch between the two tallest configurations. Due the light weight, stability and modularity - this table earn 5-stars.

Love how light these are and easy to move.
We bought this to use in our travel trailer and while camping. Split apart the tables make good end tables with the short legs, we use the linger legs for an outdoor counter space and have used inside like a TV tray. They are very lightweight and easy to keep clean. We store them in a large pillow case so the tops don't get scratched.
