DINGPAI Candle Making Kit, Candle Make Pouring Pot and Wicks

Good quality pot. Perfect size for my needs. Kit has everything I need, and I really love the size of the candle wicks.

I've never made candles before and wanted to recycle my candles that got too low so I bought this kit, and it works great! A couple things to note - the adhesive circles are slightly bigger than the metal wick anchors, so you might want to cut them to size. Also, on my first pour, I hadn't taken note of the temperature of the wax. It was a bit too hot and the wick came loose from the adhesive. So you might want to have a thermometer or just let the wax cool down a few minutes before pouring. Research the ideal pour temperature for the type of wax you have. After I did my research and used a thermometer to get the pour temperature right, making my first candle was super easy! I'd recommend this kit for anyone who wants to delve into candle making.

On my first try, I found this product very easy to use (especially with the wick spacer/holder), but realized after burning one of my candles from the kit that the adhesive stickers used to hold the wicks down are pretty crappy: once the wick reaches the bottom, the heated wax melts the adhesive and the wick separates from the bottom and you lose the rest of the candle. I'd say throw the adhesive stickers out and just GLUE the wick to the bottom. That aspect was definitely annoying since the whole reason I bought this set was to reuse wax that was left from other inefficient candles that didn't burn all their wax. However, all the other pieces to the set are great so 4 stars it is.

Excellent kit and great price!

This was my first time making candles, lip balm, and body butter. Works great! Nice quality. Great size. Good for small batches, but also holds quite a bit for larger batches. Stores easily because of the small size. The sticky things worked great for the wicks. I accidentally bought 2 and returned one with no problem. I didnt even have to box it up or anything. Just dropped it off at UPS.

When I was looking up "how to make soy wax candles" the double boiler is almost always mentioned. The melting pot provided seems like it was taken off a cappuccino machine and placed in the wrong delivery order. The handle does not hang over the edge of the boiling pot of water, and it's honestly really small... I've made a lot of candles with it out of pure stamina and patience... and determination, not because the vessel is large enough. If this is in your price range - go for it. The adhesive, wicks and holders are more than adequate. BUT you will likely have to invest in another melting pot... at least I will be and wish that I was more diligent in reading the dimensions in the product description. Happy shopping :)

Made the candle making experience much easier

The product box looked like it was going to be a cheap low quality product, but the actual pot, spoons, and centering tools were actually quite good in quality. I'm very picky about if there are scratches on my products and this pot came perfect... I mean if you saw what it came in you'd be convinced there be damage inside. But you will be pleasantly surprised! The wicks were perfect and I immediately completed one of the my little candle DIY projects with it immediately. I would definitely throw my weight into recommending this if you're on the fence. This kit comes with everything you will need to get started. You do need your own heating element!

VERY VERY SMALL IN SIZE. WASTE OF RS 4200!!!!NOT WORTH. ITS BETTER BUY PYREX JAR. SWEAR. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
