BOG makes a great product. I have used this binocular rest on many hunting trips and scouting trips. A definite must for finding game. Holds binoculars securely and firmly based on all types of weather conditions and terrain. Would buy again.

Adapter works, but does not work with the way I use my Leupold 12X50 HD's. The cups /swallows of the bracket do not allow to make the width of the bracket narrow enough & if strap is tightened securely, the pressure wants to make the focus width even wider. The pressure of the straps down force makes the binoc's tubes separate more, so you don't see just one image without seeing a line in between. hope this explains good enough for those with Binocs that have very narrow space between the tubes when closed in the very closed position, in which I use and store them. Worked well for a few months, the metal bars on the rubber strap failed and the mount is worthless.

I have 10x50 binoculars (Vortex). The mounting plate from my current tripod bolted up with no problem (Pursuit X1). The Bog-Pod bino rest holds them very secure; no slipping, either tilting up or down. The only con was the odor when I opened the package. You have to "air the rest out" to get rid of the strong rubber smell. That's a minor thing and has nothing to do with the function of the rest; it works great. This product worked as described.

Worked great in my Mohave bx-3 12x50 binos! The other screw in type mounts did not work because there is not enough room between the binos to get your fingers in to tighten up the retainer screw. These go over top and are a breeze to setup!!

Works well on my Zeiss 15x56 as well as my Zeiss 10x32s. Holds tightly on tripod. Binocs feel secure. Much easier to swap binocs compared to the screw thingy that goes between the tubes. Smaller than it appears in the photo. Thought it might change the interpupillary setting of distance if my binocs, but does not. They'd rule the market for binocs and tripods if this thing were $25 as it should be...and that's being generous.

I like the fact that I can use different sizes of binoculars and different types of mountings. ( window mounts and tripod, bipods ) very well made as all of BOG products. Made for hunters. Highly recommend.
