Purpose Built
This is an excellent skinner. The horn handle and leather sheath are nice touches, but otherwise this is a no frills, purpose built item. It is also reasonably priced, IMHO. Comes sharp, so there is no need to touch it up!

Great looking little knife critter.
No frills, just plain old working tool. Blade is sharp and so is the gut hook. Blade is thick enough to be strong and through the handle is, strong. It fits the hand for holding at least three different ways, critical for gutting and skinning game in the field. The sheath holds it tightly and looks good and strong. It isn't pretty, but is a great working tool.
