My little fusspot loves these freeze-dried bites! I chose them because of the quality of ingredients; my little dog loves the taste. They are lightweight but so packed with nutrition that even a small portion is a perfect, filling meal. At first, I wondered about the bag's cost-to-weight ratio. But dehydrating does make food weigh less, so we're still getting the same nutrition without the fillers that other foods have. All in all, I am happy to be able to give her this high-quality food. About the nugget size: 'Small' is a relative term. For my little dog, each nugget is a mouthful, but they have an airy texture that makes them easy enough for her to bite into.

My Cavalier King Charles eats homemade food, but I use the Stella Lil'Bites as training treats. My puppy loves them and I feel comfortable with the ingredients.

Our chihuahua Moose LOVES this stuff. And he is finicky as we tried Farmer's Dog and Fresh Pet for small breeds. I haven't tried rehydrating it yet, but I probably will to up his water intake. The food hardly has an odor, and I found our cat Victor likes it too. It's expensive, but worth it imho. Highest quality dog food I've ever found too.

They will eat these as a treat - but not their first choice when offered with another treat.

I have an 8 year old small mix breed dog. She has always been a picky eater. I have tried over and over dog food, usually she would maybe have a taste then walk away. I saw this on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. She loves it. Gets excited when she sees me reach for the red bag! She loves both the beef and chicken! Just wish you had larger bags. My chihuahua loves this! She is hard to please. Sometimes they are a bit hard. It may be getting old. This is my only complaint.

I have a cocker spaniel who is 2 years old and have a 8 month old chihuahua. These are great because they are easily able to crumble with fingers if using as a topper or treat. My babies absolutely love all the flavors and the packaging keeps them fresh!!!

Our EXTREMELY finicky terrier/daschund pooch 💘LOVES this food! We were actually in disbelief that she ate it all and was looking for more, which is a first for her. This food is also very good as treats because all my dogs go crazy for this and do about whatever to get more. As soon as we even make a move going anywhere towards the bag, they're up and at attention. I don't know if the love will last, but for now it seems it will. Thank you Stella & Chewy for getting it right. Now if you can just bring that price down to be more economical, you'd be for sure selling more product. Especially since the economy and "we the people" are struggling so.

I have tried all kinds of dogs food to get my dog of people food, I was told that raw food would be the way. It was, my dog has been switched to it and just loves them

Literally the only food my 3lb Chihuahua ever wants to eat. It rehydrates well when hot water is added and he goes crazy for it! It can also be fed as is. Great company with a reliable product.

My dog loves these but they do have a higher percentage of fat then is recommended for dogs who have had incidents of pancreatitis

You may recall another review I wrote about purple poop bags. Well, welcome to the reason for those purple poop bags. Freeze dried raw produces larger amounts of doggy poop. However, my dog loves these crunched into salmon oil and then mixed with really crappy cheap small dog food square pots.
