You will not be able to visibly see waves unless the power is quite high. 2. The m048n does not have sufficient power output to fully drive this transducer. You will need a power amplifier that can take the m048 as input and produce up to 60 Watts of power into the transducer **Q: Can I use this do detect objects and send a signal to my computer like an Arduino ultrasonic sensor?** A: This is a high power transmitter, it has lots of mass in the driver and would not respond well as a receiver.
