Really a god-sent for menstrual period, post-partum bleeding or for ladies with incontinence issue, no more mess on mattress or embarrassing stains on pants. Machine washable.

These work! I purchased a pair of Thinx for $34 and I loved them, the problem is that it would be so much easier to have several pairs, so I ordered this 3 pack for less than 1 pair of Thinx. The quality seems a bit better in the stitching than the Thinx I got although the gusset materiel seems a bit thicker in the Thinx. I did a water test on these with photos below. I poured about 2 ounces of water on them and patted my fingers all over them to test their quality in holding the liquid. They were amazing. You will see a few droplets on the paper towel that was below them, but that was from me splashing the water where the panties weren't. I didn't want to put a staged photo up. As someone with a heavy flow, these are a great backup to my menstrual cup. They are a just in case and I will never have to wear black pants on heavy flow days. The two products- the cup+ these panties is a real life changer for me. I will oerder another pack of three and be totally comfy during my period.

Point blank period
Well, I have the joy (sarcasm alert) of 10-11 day periods. So, you can imagine how sore I feel from pads at the end of each period. Even if I wear a tampon, I still wear a pad. I only have several days of freedom from any menstrual issues monthly. Finding any form of relief has been a real blessing! My phone won't link to Thinx's website, so I decided after reading these reviews to give this particular panty (and one other brand) a try. After all, I've easily dropped $100 in Wally World with very little to show for it. Why not at least try these -no harm, no foul if they didn't work out well.A little hotter than most panties, but then God allowed man to be smart enough to make air conditioning to help!Dislikes:Has an odd odor (almost like a new tar road) when bled into -for the first few wears at least. I noticed on the 4th wear, it was less noticeable. Btw- I don't have this problem with my regular clothes nor any pad or tampon. I did notice this with the other new and different brand of period panties I ordered at the same time. (I guess it's the materials that keep the blood in place.) But, I also have a heightened sense of smell so maybe this will not be an issue for you. Also, the smell does not linger around (only present with the bloody panties when using the bathroom). You ever enter the bathroom behind another and it smells fishy or something else even several minutes later? It's not like that.Makes a rustling sound when worn with lightweight fabrics, shorts, or skirts/dresses. Move faster, rustles louder. Move slower, rustles softer. Not really bad, just slightly noticeable to the others in the room with decent hearing. (I tended to wear capris, jeans, slacks, etc., when wearing these panties.A little challenging but not impossible to get a sanitary napkin around the wide crotch. I tend to use the winged dry weave thin long overnights or even regular overnight ones. They don't stick well and might need to be changed a little more often as they crept up on me a little more often.Need to scrub really well (by hand) to get the crotch stains out fully.Pretty panties (although very high risers -but they work well so ...) but I would prefer to have neutrals such as black and flesh tones such as brown and tan. These suckers ride high, but that's liveable. Some even like that.Loves:Freedom from an extra sore bum due to pads!!!! Yay!!! Lighter days I wore these bad buddies without pads or any additional supports.I found myself checking to make sure my pad hadn't slipped the first few wears. It was a relief to not have to wear one.Absorbs blood well. No wet feelings which is fantastic!!!Absorbs sweat too. I live in the super hot south. We sweat up bras and panties pretty thoroughly starting as early as spring here. Was a nice relief that I didn't sweat all the way through and have wet pants and have to worry about that or the consequences that come with not being able to change out of sweaty undies timely.I washed and dried a pair by hand 2x and used the washing machine and dryer once. They held up well. I was hoping they'd shrink just a little since I did order a size up from my standard pant size, but I didn't notice that. The absorbent part worked just as well. I usually place bras and special items in a bra or garment bag before washing and drying but didn't with these forgetting I had them with me. The color remained also.I'm quite a curvy gal, especially my bottom 1/2. Ordering these 1 size up gave a little more room than I wanted. So if you're not bodylicious in the hips, buns, and thighs you might want to consider ordering your pant size unless you want a little extra room.High crotches front and back to catch the flow. I slept well with these! Also, the crotch is quite wide so most will enjoy. Not my favorite part of the panty, but better too wide than too narrow.I thought these might be a little gross, but the blood wasn't bothersome. Couldn't feel it at all. It did unnerve me a little the first few times seeing it, since I'm used to seeing blood in panties and thinking how I need to change and grab a pad. I adjusted easily.Price was good.I don't recall these creeping between my hills and valley, bum, frequently like my other brand.I recommend these panties!!! I took 1 star due to the odor these panties put out.I just wish these came into my life sooner!!2/5/2018The odor remains even after many washes over several months.I thought my period was easing up recently (longer than normal cycle). Instead I bled heavily through these panties. I had been able to wear these on light to lightly moderate days as the only period protection, but not this past month. I noticed the bottom of the crotch was very bloody and had not been before when used this way. I leaked heavily into my pjs. Has not happened like this before. I'm assuming these panties have a life expectancy of 3-6 months depending upon washes. As I've been using them since about July 2017.I STILL recommend but want to try a pair of Thinx now too, where as I had lost interest for awhile upon using these.

Highly recommend
These undies are a must for any woman looking to make her cycles easier. These have saved my bed from late night leaks, mid day mishaps and more. The high waist is so comfortable to me, and gave me a little extra warmth and support. I waited so long to buy these and now I wish I had made the jump sooner. Attached is a photo with all showing and while its vulnerable, I want to show any ladies what to expect fit wise. My waist is naturally high so these are my preference. The lines on the back can be conspicuous so I wouldn't recommend them with leggings unless you don't mind the lines being very visible!

Gives Some Added Protection
Soooooo I have this awful, inconvenient, annoying issue called urinary urgency and because I work away from the office (and, thus, a bathroom) most of the time, it can be hard to hold it until I find a public restroom. I wanted to try a "knock off" type of underwear with extra lining like these, since the Thinx and Icon panties are too pricey a garment for me to be piddling in. I've already been wearing these for a week and they just survived their first wash. Definitely not a substitute for a liner, pad, tampon, etc., but they did the trick for me in a pinch, until I can get to a restroom. The style is a little grandma-esque, but I could care less for the price. I typically wear a size 10-12 pant and I ordered the XL because I am 5'10". These were a tad large, which I prefer because I like the extra coverage, but some ladies may want to go down one size. Overall, not too shabby in comparison with the other brands.

HOLYSHIT IT WORK!!!!!
Hands down these are my go to period pantries. These saved me from embarrassment. Long story short I fell asleep on my friends white leather sofa, not know that my period was going to be on that night. I woke up feeling embarrassed after 6+ hours of sleep. I could feel the moisture between my legs and instantly I know I had to have my period. I woke up with a crime scene inside these underwear, heavy flow and all. Nonetheless, no sofa was damaged and no leakage happened. These were easy to clean up. Soak them in hot water, throw them in the wash and you are good to go.

Fantastic
I wanted to wait a while before I reviewed these so I could try them out properly. From reading other reviews I was nervous about the sound. When they arrived they did indeed make a slight rustling sound. However once they were on the noise wasn't loud at all and I wasn't worried. They arrived in a secure pouch so you can keep them separate from your other undies which I like. They are extremely comfortable. I'm 27 and have extremely heavy periods and have to wake myself up in the night to change my pad. Even then I would sometimes still get stains on my sheets and would have accidents during the day, which felt humilliating. However these pants provide that extra bit of protection and security. As I have heavy periods I use the correct pad and only rely on the undies for added protection. They absorb fantastically well and I haven't had any accidents on bed sheets or clothing since I've had them. I think these would be wonderful for teens who still attend school/college to give them that extra bit of security so they feel more comfortable and confident during their time of the month. I followed the cleaning instructions and they clean up very easily. I will certainly be purchasing more of these! Huge thumbs up

A life saver!!!
My period came a week early and meant that I was on during my holiday!! My period tends to be really heavy and I frequently have accidents: stains on clothing and seats. This means I often wear heavy, dark clothing when I'm on. You can imagine my horror when I came on during my hols in a hot country. Luckily, I bought these along. I wore my normal panties and a pad and then these briefs over them. I didn't always have regular access to toilets, my clothing was thinking and brightly covered and i was not able to change as frequently as I would like to. However, these panties prevented any embarrassing leakage from seeping into my clothing or onto seating. I did actually leak into the pants but the protective layer stop any leakage. I just wish they were more affordable to have more of them as they are needed day and night when I'm on. A must buy for anyone with heavy periods.

Where have these been all my life???
I’ve had these for a while as, like others, I wanted to test them ‘in action’ as it were, and it’s only in the last week or so that I’ve been in a position to feel the need to try them out. Hovering on the verge of ‘the change’, my periods are infuriatingly irregular in almost every aspect - including heaviness; but as the only place where sanitary protection is truly secure is in the adverts, these have (this month) proved a godsend. They fit nicely, and the protective parts take up a reassuring amount of the overall surface area. I’m one of those who hasn’t really noticed any rustling noises when they’re on - and I’m pleasantly surprised to find that they haven’t been too unpleasant in the midst of a heatwave, either. They’ve already saved me from spots on the bedding twice, and clean up beautifully. Like other reviewers, I like the pouch that they’re packed in, as it keeps them separate if I’m away from home. I share that familiar dread of accidents on hotel or holiday home bedding - but with these packed in the luggage, I already feel much happier at the prospect of a trip away coinciding with ‘that’ time of the month. Absolutely brilliant.

Attention.

Good for periods- not good for postpartum/ cesarean
Bought these in preparation for my elective cesarean and this is what came up when I searched for c-section pants. The fit is really good and pads fit perfectly which is a massive plus, material is nice and soft. I will without a doubt be using these for my periods, however; I can not recommend them for anyone going through a cesarean as the curved seem on the front is right where the scar from the incision is and it is incredibly painful, so couldn’t use them till about 5-6 weeks later.Only other minus is that the colour stains other clothes a lot in the wash so be careful.

Highly recommend!
Takes the stress away from an already awkward part of life for a young teenager. Nobody enjoys worrying they're laying correctly at night. Highly recommend. Makes life easier.

They're a great product.
These are great , use with pads or tampons . They do make crinkle noise but not when worn . Only down sides are that they make you sweat and if you wear tight clothes you'll see the outline of the protective part of the fabric as it doesn't go all the way round only in the parts were you'll likely leak , but still five stars as I wouldn't be without them now . They arrived early and we'll packed.

Great
Great invention. First time in months that i havent had any accidents on bed clothes or jeans. The crotch is slightly wide and there is a slight rustling sound but i can live with that for the advantages.

A LOT of room for improvement
I'm not to happy with these.Sure they don't leak, but noone said it will have foil in them. That you will hear it rustling while moving! Not to mention scorches on your skin due to rubbing on the skin. Not happy with it.Tried for few days and got rid of it.Sorry. Wouldn't recommend it

Definitely worth trying - Low cost, effective, and a great way to stop using pads!
These were purchased to try out the practicalities of a period panty, without the expense. For this exercise they were perfect.Used on their own - without cup or pad - on the lightest day. Also used on heavier days with both a cloth pad and regular pad.I had initially been worried about absorbancy, leakages, and smell - Turns out, these were not issues at all.During the time they were used without other products: they were very comfortable, did not leak even though I was very active, and did not smell at all. During the time used with extra products : I would suggest keeping clear of the plastic pads with wings when using this product as a support. Using cup or cloth (reusable) pads with wings were not an issue at all. These panties absorbed all leaks except where the plastic pads were used on the heaviest day - leaked where the plastic wings wrap around the panty itself. This is an issue with the pladtic pad NOT the panty. The panty is of a soft, comfortable material. Yes, it does make a very slight rustling sound when not being warn, but this is not an issue while wearing.Fabric is easy to clean and have had no issues with these panties themselves. These are not a dainty panty -They are a full brief fit and as such, will look and feel quite large if you aren't used to this style already.Suggestion: bring a small cloth bag to put used panties and cloth pads if you will be out and about and want a fresh change. When you get home, you can wash the whole lot as instructed including the bag.Now that I've tried these, I'll keep using them, though I will also invest in a higher-end set to see the difference. Some people have complained of the product being of "low quality", however, for the price, these are great quality and overall good value. These are a GREAT option for those on a budget and want to do their bit to cut down on the environmental impact of their menstrual products.

Dont size up. Just dont. They are pretty mahusive.
Well these bad boys will probably cover my backside and that of 3 good friends as well! Haha massive. So big! I ordered a bit bigger as i expected these to come up small but the rise (from crotch to the top) is about 18 inches on the size 18. Gonna keep them as they will provide the leak protection i want and as a wheelchair user its always nice to have some that wont dig in but im going to order more in a much smaller size. To guage by eye, these look like a size 22/24, so high i reckon i could get 'the ladies!' In too!

No more stained Bedsheets or trousers!
These period briefs do the job, I have in the past ordered from a different company and with them the blood would still creep out, these however are great, I have heavy heavy periods, before I would always end up having to take blood out of my bedsheets, clothes worn during periods, with these everything is saved! This has saved me so much time and given me the peace of mind I needed. Thank you for a great product... Will be back to order more.

They are a good item but if you suffer heavy menstrual cycles they only offer slight protection. Better than ordinary underwear and add peace of mind but they are not a lifesaver.

Great product, do your best with sizing and then go for it!
Little to add that other reviewers haven’t already covered. The most difficult part of this purchase is the sizing chart, very confusing. I wanted UK size 22 which I think is the largest size shown. In my view I think they would be worth a try if you need maybe even two sizes larger. They are super stretchy. I would only order down one size next time because I like a looser feel when dealing with pads etc. The cut and stretch is really remarkable and they are a great product.

Love these!
I'm an advocate for the use of reusable menstrual products. I have reusable pads and a menstrual cup, but I really wanted to give these a go.They do have a slight crunchy sound to them around the crotch area, I assume that this the liquid-proof/ barrier fabric, though I find one I have them on overall it is not too bad. Though I bought these to wear while I am at home and on a night.I'm pleasantly surprised by them and would definitely recommend them. I feel that if you generally have a light flow like me these would be fine on their own however, they would be a great added layer of protection for anyone with a heavier flow.I recommend to soak them before putting them in the washing machine on your standard cycle.
