It's good and strong which I didn't expect. I wanted it to work on a 40 year old Mercedes and it didn't have the right adapters really but I found an old large socket that worked fine for pressing. If it was going to break it would have as I really tested it on jammed up rusted ball joints.

Took out ball joints on discovery 2 ... eventually! did start bending when put under EMENSE pressure, but left overnight and the ball joing had moved, did the job :-)

Very useful tool

I used it to remove top and bottom ball joints on a Toyota Land Cruiser did not do the job as it bent out of shape

This item was supposed to be heavy duty but did bend while using it’s not very good quality

Plenty of options to remove ball joints, but had to make a tool to fit Mk6 Hilux. The Gee clamp is very robust, and was effective in both removing and installing the new lower ball joints.

Well packaged and good quality. Removed my ball joints in only a few minutes. Just make sure everything is squared up before putting pressure on. 1/2 inch drive sockets can be used if you can’t find exact cup to re install ball joints….

Great and very strong for the money. People leaving reviews saying it was weak or something must not know how to use it. Popped out thirty year old Ford ball joints like butter.

I’m a big fan of OMT tools. I have a bearing press, and a disc brake tool and the quality of both is great. That’s why when I needed a ball joint tool I went to with OMT. I know a case doesn’t do much, but it does speak to the quality and attention to detail a company has for their tools. I previously ordered a slightly cheaper set, and immediately sent it back. When I unboxed the cheaper set right away I knew I’d be disappointed. The case was laughably thin, I knew it wouldn’t last a month, at least not in my shop. Secondly the tool set inside was flimsy, with a cheap painted coating. I could tell it was of inferior quality. I had a ball joint to press out of the control arm for my GMC 2500, and that set wouldn’t have touched it. The OMT set pressed it out, no problems. It did take some fiddling to get the right size cups etc, but it worked great. Just make sure you coat the threads with anti-seize to help prevent galling.
