Good product will last for years.

I ordered these to replace ugly surface-mount fixtures that were in the house when purchased, specifically in laundry room, master bath, sewing room and workroom. My handyman took about an hour to replace all four and install dimmer switches, and now I can control light quality where I need it. If I'm working on complex projects I can light up exactly what works best, and if I want low light it takes just a touch. I was a little concerned that they'd look cheap, but no problem - they're virtually invisible against white ceilings. The fact that they're LED and likely to last well past the time I leave the home is a bonus; no more buying lightbulbs makes them even more economical.

I have ordered 6 of these; five at first and then one more as I liked them right after I installed them. Then one of the first five died within 24 hours. And now that I tried installed the sixth one, it turns out to have some sort of internal fault (see image). If I had been ordering modern art, perhaps I wouldn't be unhappy. So, 6 panels and troubles with 2 of them already.... I really want to like this product, but I wonder about future reliability... Update: the replacement panels have worked reliably for some time, so I'll bump this to 4 stars; if they make it a few more months, maybe 5 stars will be justified - I do like them and they do work well with the recommended dimmer I purchased (a Lutron)

I've read several comments on the installation being difficult, but I was able to install this light in a matter of minutes. The key is the order that you finish each step. There are instructions right on the box that lay out 3 or 4 steps (depending on the installation method) which really make it easy. You can also search for install videos on this light that will take you through each step. This light was exactly what I needed for my basement storage room that does not have a lot of overhead space with the low ceiling. The light output is great. I highly recommend this light.

The lights are very bright. No buzzing. Work perfectly with a dimmer. Easy to install. We used pancakes junction boxes( you cannot see them from the floor.) The lights real name is Intertek/ its written on them( I have Intertek dimmable shop light bought 3 years ago. Great light. Still using it. Was looking for Intertek on the market, but couldn't find any. Out of business? Got these lights as a surprise. )Very happy with this purchase! Halo recessed lights from Home Depot are too dimmed ( don't like it at all), Juno from Lowe's are ok, but buzzing like crazy with dimmer. These lights are the best!

I received the 4 lights and they are lovely, very streamlined. However, I hay e the old fashioned lights in my hallways and my installer is trying to figure out a way to put them up.(Instead of putting in a picture of your product, I put in a picture of my old fixture housing in hopes you might give some instructions on how to install them.) the hole 10”square.).

The color of the light is nice and neutral, it’s fairly bright too. The light is really thin, this was important because I was installing in a basement stairway with a low ceiling. The mechanical installation was slightly complicated because you need to install back plate and twist light onto that. Light is flush on ceiling once you do that. Delivered really quickly, I am glad I got it

This had potential, but I strongly do not recommend buying these lights. I like the ease with which these can be installed inside a recessed can. But that’s where the good qualities end. One of the four lights showed up shattered. It looks like the box was pinched when shipped, so a simple replacement would have solved the problem. I emailed the company to see if just the one could be replaced since I bought the 4-pack. Never heard a response... Next issue is that they are not really dimmable. I have a legrand dimmer from Lowe’s that is LED dimming compatible. I’ve used other LED lights with the dimmer before and after trying these lights, none of which had trouble. When turning these lights on from the full on position, the lights operate normally, and can be dimmed. If the dimmer setting is anywhere below full, the light barely glow until the dimmer is turned to full, where the light will fully light, and can be dimmed again. If the dimmer is in full position, there is a really annoying flicker, so it must be turned down slightly to remove the flicker. But then the previous problem crops up again once the light is turned off and back on again. Very annoying. Finally, the LED lights themselves are pulsed. If the pulse frequency was higher, it wouldn’t be noticeable, but it’s slow enough that any motion shows the flicker. I installed the lights in the kitchen, and as I cooked, this flicker annoyed me any time something moved. Finally, these do not sit flat against the ceiling. All of them sit at an angle, with one edge flat and the other with a 3/8” gap. Looks terrible and cheap.

I've purchased multiples of these over the years, and they are excellent. This was pretty easy to install. Nice and bright. I installed it in my bathroom to replace a track (3) light that was there for 30 years. Looks good!

When I purchased this, I did not pay attention to the size. I was expecting a 2' x 2' light, but that was my fault for not paying attention to the description. I was concerned that the unit would be too small to put out enough light for the area, but after installation; which was super simple in my application, it lit up the room perfectly; it's a home office and it might actually be a little too bright. The colour temperature of the light is perfect and the low profile really looks good in the room. Unlike the previous light which hung down from the ceiling, this light has a very low profile. It is currently set up with a two position switch (on/off) but I'm hoping to set it up with a dimmer in the next week or so. Our only concern at this time is the reliability of the light. In the past, LED lights that we've used have not lasted as long as advertised. I'm sure the LED light itself would work well, but the longevity of the electronics is probably where the issue lies. We will see how this one will fare. We liked the light so much that we've decided to replace many of the lights in the bedrooms after we get some time with this one and try out the dimming feature.

Application: for replacement of existing ceiling lights in the kitchen with this slim LED to improve appearance. Pros: This LED has cETLus logo, which meets the Canadian Electrical Standards. This will avoid any potential arguments with insurance company. They do look very good in our kitchen with low ceiling. The price is very reasonable. Cons: none so far.

Installed these over our 4” pot lights. Yes, these aren’t meant for a 4” pot light, my fault but I made it work. So glad I did because these are great. Super easy to instal with the supplies connector and bracket. Very bright! Nice even light. Will be needing a dimmer for these. Recommended.
