This is very nice magnifying glasss, but its got size almost of overage human hand pam, so it is not small. Its a little bit bulky for the keychain, but not heavy. It is sizy. I like it . I am recomending you this product. I like it, but I wish it would be slightlly smaller.

I find this magnifying glass amazingly handy and useful. For reading increasingly smaller print on product labels, removing ticks from an arm, or examining a mushroom gill for identification, it has ample magnification ability, but most importantly, the handy light illuminates what otherwise might be too dark to see. There are stronger magnifying glasses available, but this lightweight version is adequate for most uses. I have one I've been using for well over a year and it still lights up with no need to replace any batteries yet.

This is a magnifying glass, not a loupe—just so you know. And it is a bit bigger than I was expecting. Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about what is good about this device. It is very lightweight; you’ll hardly feel it in your pocket. It’s easy to use with or without the light. Open partway for no light, open all the way for the light. The light is bright enough to illuminate the object you want to see, but not glaring so you miss details. I got this to use in the field when hunting for cool rocks and minerals. I like to think I’m going to find a large gemstone, but mostly I pick up leaverites (as in “leave it right there”).

I purchased this handheld magnifying glass with light mainly to help with removing splinters and other tiny things where better visibility really matters. It has been extremely helpful and does exactly what I needed. I am no longer just digging at my husband hands when trying to help. The magnification is clear and makes it much easier to see small areas, and the built-in light is a big plus.
